- Peter Ivers was born on September 20, 1946 in Illinois, USA. He was a composer and actor, known for Vacation (1983), Grand Theft Auto (1977) and Seven Minutes in Heaven (1986). He died on March 3, 1983 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- In 1983, his body was found bludgeoned to death with a hammer in his apartment. The crime still remains unsolved but the case was reopened by LAPD in 2008, after new information was presented while Ivers friends Josh Frank and Charlie Buckholtz were writing the book "In Heaven Everything Is Fine: The Unsolved Life of Peter Ivers and the Lost History of New Wave Theatre", published that same year.
