Former The West Wing star Allison Janney is hobbling around Hollywood after suffering a trampoline injury. The actress was spotted wearing a cast and a foot support while grocery shopping with longtime partner Richard Jenik in Los Angeles on Monday. Putting on a brave face, she said, "I injured my foot on the trampoline. I'd rather not go into details. Let's just say I landed awkwardly." Slender Janney likes to put her body to the test - a yoga and pilates fan, the actress was one of the first celebrities to sign up for pole dancing lessons when former The West Wing co-star Richard Schiff's wife Sheila Kelley hosted her S Factor striptease/exercises classes.

The West Wing star Allison Janney is considering marrying her fiance Richard Jenik in a tiki bar she's had built in her back garden - because she can't find anywhere else to do it. More than a year ago, Janney announced her engagement to her beau, but admits that schedules and other commitments have obstructed her efforts to find the perfect place to wed - so she's considering using her home's palapa (an open-sided structure thatched with palm leaves). She says, "We've been thinking about getting married at the palapa 'cause it's so festive and fun... We've been having a hard time finding the place, with the West Wing schedule and my movie schedule and trying to find a location." And Janney guarantees that once she and Jenik host their family and friends in their hillside open-sided dwelling, they'll all want one of the thatched roof constructions on their properties. She adds, "It's one of those things that you don't know you need until you have it. And now everyone who's gonna come to my house is gonna say, 'Oh my God, I need a palapa!' Everyone needs one."...

With Gwen Stefani poised to make her big-screen debut in Martin Scorsese's Aviator, her husband, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, is following her lead by inking to star in Crusader Entertainment's The Game of Their Lives. The project, being directed by David Anspaugh, is based on the book by Geoffrey Douglas. Adapted by Angelo Pizzo, it's the story of the American soccer team that, in a stunning upset, defeated England in the 1950 World Cup. At that time, the tournament barely registered on America's sports radar, so the United States sent a hastily assembled band of amateur and semiprofessional players, composed chiefly of working-class immigrants. Considered the underdogs, the Americans took on the seemingly unbeatable English side with surprising results. Rossdale, who has an extensive soccer background, will play English team member Stanley Mortenson. Wes Bentley stars along with Gerald Butler, Richard Jenik, Louis Mandylor and Jay Rodan. Crusader topper Howard Baldwin is producing with Karen Baldwin, Greg Johnson and Ginger Perkins. Rossdale is repped by Brillstein-Grey Entertainment. His other credits include The Chris Isaak Show.
