In this brave new world of "Star Wars" fandom, it's almost unfathomable that there exist elements within the various films, novels, comics, and TV shows that don't have some sort of backstory or origin point. While obviously this stems from the huge fanbase for "Star Wars" loving the fictional universe so much that they wish to study and know absolutely everything that's in it, this trend also originated out of an inherent idea popularized by creator George Lucas with the very first movie in the franchise back in 1977 -- the implication that we're seeing a small part of a larger world, and every planet, ship, and creature we see (whether in the foreground or background) has its own history and story.
It's a powerful implication, and one that's essential to constructing a wholly fictional universe. Yet, of course, it's mostly hogwash -- or at least it used to be. While...

This Obi-wan Kenobi article contains spoilers.
It’s the reunion of a lifetime. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker clash again as Darth Vader stalks onto the small screen. This episode also gestures at the fates of some famous Prequel and Legends Jedi, illustrating exactly how much trouble they’re in.
Here are all the Star Wars references, easter eggs, and cameos we spotted in episode 3:
Hayden Christensen and James Earl Jones as Darth Vader
– Hayden Christensen returns from the Prequels as Anakin Skywalker. It’s a reunion many fans thought would never happen as the actor drew flack for his performance under George Lucas’ direction. In the TV series, he even shows his face in a vision.
– Star Wars legend James Earl Jones brings the original Darth Vader voice back for TV. He first provided the iconic voice of Darth Vader in the original 1977 film, while actor and bodybuilder David Prowse wore the suit.

Afm is always my favorite time of the film reporting year. There's always so much information about cool genre movies flying at you from every direction that it's literally a full time job just keeping up with what's going on. It's for that reason that we here at Qe decided to hold off on a lot of our favorite news and make one big giant mega post with all the stuff that had us talking behind the scenes.
To avoid cluttering up the homepage I've decided to bury all the images and information after the break so click through and feast on the many goodies beyond.
I've chosen to start with Neuromancer not for the quality of the news but for how high the film currently ranks on my most anticipated. And not because I have any real fondness for Hayden Christensen or James Kahn, but just because it's been...
