- As wife of the inventor of the Technicolor process Herbert T. Kalmus, she was always made a part of the crew for early Technicolor movies. This was so that they could do their best to maintain control of what was filmed using Technicolor.
- At least two models of "Natalie Kalmus" brand television cabinets were produced by a Southern California manufacturer in the early 1950s. Ironically, they were for black and white sets.
- Before she married Herbert T. Kalmus, she was a catalog model.
- Although obtaining a divorce decree in 1921 (final in 1922), she and husband Herbert T. Kalmus continued to live together as husband and wife until 1944.
