Tyler Hilton is a married man! The One Tree Hill actor tied the knot with his longtime love, Megan Park, in an intimate ceremony in Malibu, CA, on Saturday. Megan spoke with Us Weekly and gushed, "It was everything we wanted it to be, and it was so nice after so many years together to finally celebrate our relationship with all of our friends and family. It's nice to have everyone we love in one place finally for all these years to celebrate our love for each other." The twosome first met on the set of Charlie Bartlett in 2007, and after dating for a few years, they got engaged in January 2014. Tyler, who is also a musician, is best known for his role as Chris Keller on the hit CW show, while Megan starred in The Secret Life of an American Teenager as Grace Bowman. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Before Game of Thrones, True Detective, Boardwalk Empire, The Wire and even The Sopranos, there was Oz. HBO’s first dramatic series launched in 1997 and ran for six seasons, paving the way for all of HBO’s popular dramas since and inviting viewers inside the walls of the Oswald State Correctional Facility for a brutal – albeit intensely fictional – look at life in prison.
Amidst all the drugs, nudity and sexual, physical and psychological violence that took place in the cell block of Emerald City, a sprawling cast of characters perpetually attempted to survive another day, regardless of whether they were staff or inmate. Across its run, countless faces dropped in and out of the prison, with most often leaving in a body bag, keeping characters and viewers alike on their toes in a world where anything could happen.

Chris Meloni is a sneakily good actor. He was equally convincing as Elliot Stabler on Law and Order: Svu, as the colonel in Man of Steel, as the vicious schemer Chris Keller on Oz, and as Roman Zimojic on True Blood. Now he can add another “born to play it” role: Jack Dunlevy, the patriarch of a suburban family on Fox’s Surviving Jack, a series that’s not as impressive as its lead actor’s performance.Jack, an oncologist, is an unconventional dad who speaks softly but kicks much ass. He never met a problem he couldn’t untangle. He has a quip for every occasion. His wife, Joanne (Rachel Harris), adores him, as do we. Even though she’s starting law school and leaving Jack to parent solo for the first time in his life, not for a second do we believe that Jack isn’t up to the task.

Tonight Fox debuts its new sitcom Surviving Jack, which stars Christopher Meloni as a gruff, ex-military doctor who suddenly finds himself as the main caregiver to his teenage kids. A badass who, against all of his instincts, gets in touch with his tender side? Sounds like Meloni is returning to his roots: Back in 1998, he was introduced on HBO’s GLAAD-nominated Oz as psychotic murderer Chris Keller, whose devious plan to mind-fuck Job-like convict Tobias Beecher (Lee Tergesen) evolved into true — though still psychotic — love. Their passionate love affair was filled with sweet caresses, stabbings, deep kisses, arm-breaking, tender words, and murder plots; a gay love affair far more passionate than anything seen on Looking. Join us as we revisit the most-loved plotlines and romantic moments that inspired fevered fandom in the form of fan fiction, art, Tumblrs, and YouTube mash-ups (like “Beecher/Keller Best Kisses”).Laundry Room LoveBeecher, a...

Christopher Meloni has had the kind of varied, almost schizophrenic, and very vivid acting career in which the first thing you see him in would likely color your perceptions of him for years to come. I first encountered him in the sixth season of “1st & Ten,” a raunchy ‘80s HBO comedy about a pro football team whose cast at various points included Delta Burke, Shannon Tweed, O.J. Simpson and, for a season — as an ex-con quarterback calling himself Johnny Gunn — a young Meloni. (Here’s the opening credits for that season.) As a result of that and a few other sitcom roles immediately after, I thought of him as a comedy guy and was thrown when he would pop up playing intense dramatic roles in the ‘90s on shows like “NYPD Blue,” “Homicide” and, for a long and memorable stretch, “Oz,” HBO’s first original dramatic series, in which Meloni...

Hours after our comprehensive "Gotham Central" casting call went live, word spread that Fox has committed to a series order for "Gotham," centered on a young Gotham City detective named Jim Gordon before he ever met the shadowy Batman. So, clearly, MTV Splash Page is wholly responsible for "Gotham" happening. You're welcome.
Now that the "whose responsible this" question has been answered, let's address another question: who is going to play Gordon? That's a tough nut to crack, but we're giving it a shot after the break.
Bryan Cranston
Let's just get the obvious one out of the way. "Breaking Bad" is ending. Cranston's voiced Gordon before. He rocks the mustache-glasses combo better than most. Pie-in-the-sky, this is the best it can get. Will it happen? Not likely. Cranston's career is hotter than ever, and the man has a bright feature-film future ahead of him. Besides,...

As SXSW 2013 was coming to a close, I received an email inviting me to a last-minute sneak peek at the new horror comedy film Vamp U. The only name I recognized on the cast list was Gary Cole, but I decided to give it a shot.
Vamp U follows a handsome, likeable history professor named Wayne Gretzky (Adam Johnson) who, in addition to looking good in scarves, is a centuries-old vampire. His enthusiastic student Tom (Matt Mattson) serves as the exposition fairy to tell us in the prologue that 300 years ago, Wayne fell in love with a beautiful human girl named Mary (Julie Gonzalo) but accidentally killed her in a passionate embrace. After that night, he realized that his fangs would no longer grow, forcing him to feed on...

Former "Law & Order: Svu" star Christopher Meloni has lined up his next series role, and it's a long way from Elliot Stabler.
Meloni will star in a comedy at Fox from writers Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker ("Cougar Town," "$#*! My Dad Says"), based on Halpern's book "I Suck at Girls." He'll play the no-nonsense and not very warm father of two teenage kids (Connor Buckley of "Deception" and "Hart of Dixie's" Claudia Lee) who takes a more active role in their upbringing when their mother is accepted to law school.
The Fox project is Meloni's first series-regular role since he left "Svu" at the end of the 2010-11 season. He had a recurring part on "True Blood" last summer.
While he's best known for playing the intense Stabler on "Svu" and the sociopathic Chris Keller on "Oz," Meloni has a number of comedy credits as well. He co-starred in...

Level 33 Entertainment will send Vamp U into limited theatrical release and VOD February 12, followed by sell-through and rental DVD March 12. The disc will present the movie, which was written and directed by Matt Jespersen and Maclain Nelson and features American Gothic and Office Space’s Gary Cole in a supporting role, in 1.78:1 widescreen with 5.1 Surround sound, accompanied by deleted scenes.
The synopsis is as follows: “Wayne Gretzky [no relation, played by Adam Johnson] is a vampire with fangs that won’t grow. His ‘impotence’ began when he inadvertently killed Mary, the love of his life, 300 years ago. To take his mind off the pain, he teaches college history—who better than a guy who’s been around for centuries? Attempting to regain his full vampire powers, he enlists help from his friend and colleague, Dr. Levine [Cole]. But nothing works…that is, until a new semester brings freshman Chris Keller [Julie Gonzalo]—a dead ringer for his beloved Mary.

Millions of fans said goodbye to One Tree Hill this week as the two hour series finale made it to our television screens. The finale began with a special one hour retrospective with creator, Mark Schwahn and the cast. Not often does a creator of a hit show and the cast come together to talk about what makes their show and the experience of making it so special, with their connection to the fans at the forefront. As Bethany Joy Lenz wrote on her blog, “In a strange way, an indirect way… I supposed we raised each other.”
“It’s about falling in love, it’s about making someone proud of you, it’s about being proud of yourself. It’s about that quiet voice that tells you, you could do better.” – Mark Schwahn
Schwahn said it best when he said, “What’s real about it are the emotions behind it and the people.

I have absolutely no shame in admitting that last night’s One Tree Hill finale reduced me to tears at several points. For fans of the show, the episode did what the show had always done best (and what often brought scorn and ridicule from folks who didn’t get the appeal): It embraced its own predictability and cheesiness and while wrapping viewers in the warm and comforting embrace of a world where dreams come true and good almost always triumphs over evil. Like almost no other, Hill was a show which not only remembered its past, but knew that fans did as well and regularly rewarded them with references to events — big and small — to characters, moments and jokes from previous seasons. Here are our five favorites from last night’s finale.

Even after the 45 minutes of interviews and clips highlighting the best moments of all nine seasons, the aptly titled "One Tree Hill" took us all down memory lane once again with callbacks to moments, locations, and characters of the past in last-ever episode of this classic drama.
Everything wrapped up in a tight little bow in the series finale of One Tree Hill, and I'm perfectly fine with that. It is certainly better than the adverse, where the audience is left in the balance, not having any idea what is going to happen to the characters it fell in love with.
That definitely wasn't the case with this ending, as we know exactly what Brooke, Nathan, Haley, Mouth, and the rest of the gang will be up to for the rest of their adult lives. They will be living out the happy and the sad moments in this town... this...

When Tyler Hilton was cast as Chris Keller on "One Tree Hill" in 2004, he was a 20-year-old little-known singer-songwriter with only one small acting credit to his name -- a bit part as "folk singer" on an episode of "American Dreams." This week, as "One Tree Hill" airs its series finale on Wednesday, April 4, Hilton will be celebrating the release of his album, "Forget the Storm," from his own record label.
In addition to being his first full-length studio album in 8 years, "Forget the Storm" is Hilton's first independent release. Last year, fans were eagerly awaiting an album from Hilton titled "The Storms We Share," which was never released. As the new record's title implies, Hilton had to put that album behind him.
"'The Storms We Share' was coming out on Warner Bros, and I kind of came to a moment where I thought, 'Well, I don't know where this company is going.

"One Tree Hill" will bow out in a two-hour farewell event on Wednesday -- at least, for the time being. Several familiar faces, like Dan Scott (Paul Johansson) and Chris Keller (Tyler Hilton), returned for the final season. Even more old pals will be seen in Wednesday's series finale. One person who we haven't checked on for a while, though, is Coach Whitey Durham.
We caught up with executive producer Mark Schwahn for one last talk about the show, which, through nine seasons, has spanned over 15 years of its characters' lives. Of course, we had to ask him about our favorite crotchety old coach. Barry Corbin played the role to perfection in the first four seasons of the series -- guiding the kids (and their parents) with an alternately gentle hand and iron fist.

What a moving introduction last night on One Tree Hill. There was so much anxiety, anger, and then warmth. In the words of a fellow One Tree Hill viewer, “I’m about to cry and I don’t even cry over television shows. This is too sad.” “Danny Boy” was undoubtedly the most emotionally draining episode of the season. It reminded me of the season three finale, all of that emotion in the final moments coming like a sudden flood. Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) seemed to have tears flowing in every scene, making us all wrecks throughout. Bethany Joy Lenz was phenomenal. Danny’s death was inevitable but even knowing what was coming, what a heartbreaking episode this was. The villain turned hero met his with loved ones surrounding him.

It might have been annoying at certain points in this final season of One Tree Hill, but Nathan getting kidnapped and the subsequent events it caused over the first nine episodes were all worth it for what was maybe the most heroic rescue mission in television history.
I would be extremely surprised if I needed to convince anyone else of the greatness of Dan Scott - and Paul Johansson's portrayal of the character - after his performance during "Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will."
This was what we have all been waiting for, and what I've been writing about since "Catastrophe and the Cure" back in February: Dan Scott's redemption. I knew he would save Nathan, I just didn't know how. I knew it would be uber cool and super studly, but I couldn't have ever imagined how awesome it would be to watch him slowly walk...

There are only four episodes remaining in the history of One Tree Hill! We reviewed Wednesday’s episode in full last week, and now it is time to dig deeper into "Every Breath is a Bomb."
Our panel of Miranda Wicker, Nick McHatton and Dan Forcella are back to discuss Chuck coming to Chase’s rescue, Clay’s daddy issue, and more in the most recent installment of the One Tree Hill Round Table.
Read their answers below, and then give your own in the comments!

What was your favorite moment from the episode?
Miranda: My favorite moment this episode was Haley in the bar with the drug dealer. Her idea was totally better than Dan's. She's always been a character who is very straight-laced but she knows how to get her hands dirty when she has to. I'm also glad Dan didn't let her stay while he worked the drug dealer over.

The predator became the prey in this week’s episode of One Tree Hill which was one of the best episodes of the season. The writers are brilliant but a favorite ability of theirs is how they so cleverly craft the parallels between the stories. Every decision made by a main character is made out of love and while love prevails, there are still going to be a few bumps on the way. Some of the new targets got what they deserve while others were able to outsmart for the time being. “Every Breath is a Bomb” brought quite a thrill to Tree Hill and was able to engage us in every single moment. It’s a good thing the soap opera ending was indeed the ending of the episode. Had it been any earlier on in the episode, the entire flow of the episode would have been ruined. Smart...

Chelsea Kane is adorable and all, but we can't wait for her awful character to leave "One Tree Hill" for good. Tara is rapidly joining Carrie (Torrey DeVitto) and Nicki (Emmanuelle Vaugier) in the ranks of the most heinous rhymes-with-witches to ever set foot in Tree Hill.
It's no surprise that Brooke's (Sophia Bush) considerably short temper is tested in this clip from next week's episode, given the fact that this week, her babies' safety was compromised in a big way. Now the cafe, which she's been managing on her own while Haley searches for Nathan, is trashed -- and we can't fault her for blaming Tara given their history.
Though it's not shown in the clip below, we also know that next week's episode features a brave attempt by Dan (Paul Johansson), Chris Keller (Tyler Hilton), and Julian (Austin Nichols) to save Nathan, after Dan uncovers some information while torturing Billy.

There were sexy boots, incorrect dates of death, fatherhood offers turned down, an Air Force discharge, and a possible stolen baby. Yeah, every breath did in fact seemed like a bomb during the hour of One Tree Hill that was "Every Breath Is A Bomb."
Sexy Boots
As I mentioned last week, it's completely awesome that Haley and Dan Scott are teaming up to find Nathan. I only wish that a single other person would care about Nathan at this point. He has been missing for quite a while. If the rest of these characters just don't care about him, that's fine, but at least make note of that. I understand they all have chaotic things going on in their lives as well, but your good friend is either kidnapped or dead. You should care.

This week’s episode of One Tree Hill was magnificent, perhaps the best of the season so far. “A Rush of Blood to the Head” brought many old faces back to town, making Tree Hill more at home than it has been in awhile. There were plenty of tears shed, much to momentarily fear, and still plenty to smile and laugh about. It gets better and this episode was a beautiful look into the journey to that better.
“Have we really had our last conversation? Our last kiss?” – Haley
No time was wasted getting to the part that nobody ever wants to experience. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) receives news of a possible tragedy. Dan’s (Paul Johansson) search for Nathan (James Lafferty) leads him back to his dark past. Clay (Robert Buckley) has a breakthrough in his treatment. Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian (Austin Nichols) deal with Xavier (guest star Devin McGee). Chase’s (Stephen Colletti) concern for Chuck (guest star Michael May) pushes him to his limits.

One Tree Hill returned to its roots this week with the return of Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray) and his crazy hair. Butterflies fluttered and it seemed to become easier to breathe with Lucas around, as Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) was in the midst of a great storm. The focus stayed exactly where it needed to be in “Last Known Surroundings” and shed a bright light on Dan (Paul Johansson), the soon to be redeemed yet again man and a certain character who none of us would have ever guessed to be the one we really needed to keep our guard up with. There were some jaw dropping moments last night and the blood was rushing through my veins more than it has in quite some time watching this show, so if you missed it, you really missed out!

What was your favorite moment from the episode?
Nick: I like when all of the characters' story lines begin to intersect, and everyone banning together to help get Nathan home reminded me of the High School Tree Hill days when they were all together.
Miranda: I am no fan of Dan Scott, but damn, I want to high five him sometimes. Favorite moment goes to Dan in the interrogation room putting the cop in his place.

We’re hitting the halfway mark of One Tree Hill the final season and while “Catastrophe and the Cure” may have been more of a catastrophe, there were still a few moments worth smiling about. Though for the most part, the tone of this episode may have reminded viewers of our least favorite moments on the show in the past.
“Anything I can do?” -Mouth

At this point, Nathan (James Lafferty) is officially reported missing and is trying to figure out why exactly a group of gangsters want to kill him. Apparently, basketball is taken far too seriously overseas in the world of One Tree Hill. Sure, these gangsters added an element of danger that we must take seriously since we do not know who exactly is going to be the one to die by the time the series is over. At the same time,...

Dan Scott's road to redemption may have started a while ago, but it became much more obvious during "Catastrophe and the Cure" that it may indeed be the main overarching theme to One Tree Hill.
Sometimes it's thought provoking to take a step back and look at an entire series, figuring out what it really was all about. The events that occur - whether it be pointlessly written storylines, or actors leaving the show - can change the path of the show, but at the end of the day a story is being told.
Over the course of nine seasons of One Tree Hill, that story may end up being about a man making a number of awful decisions on his way to rock bottom, and then finally finding redemption. Whether his family - and the audience, for that matter - accepts said redemption, after all of the heinous crimes he committed,...

Nathan's new foe makes Nanny Carrie look like Mother Teresa! We're kind of worried. On the Feb. 15 episode of One Tree Hill, viewers finally found out where Nathan (James Lafferty) is -- sort of. It turns out he's been kidnapped! Also, people in Europe take basketball way too seriously. Apparently, Nathan tried to sign a player who was the "property" of someone else. (It's just a sport. Winning isn't everything, remember?!) Unfortunately, his family and friends back in Tree Hill are still left in the dark. Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) tried her best to keep composure, Dan (Paul Johannson) made a list of his enemies, Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) scared the mess out of Haley by telling her that posters were being put up and people were searching the woods, and Jamie (Jackson Brundage) shocked us all by calling Dan a liar. Oh, and Lily took her first steps. Meanwhile,...

We came into "The Killing Moon" wondering what had happened to Nathan Scott. By the end of the hour, though, I had no better explanation of who took him, or for what reason, than when we started. Did you?
Dan did set his diner on fire on purpose. We know that. The question remains whether or not we should believe him when told Haley that all of his intentions were good. If so, he's just an old man that is trying to get closer to his family, and I can respect that. If he's lying, that would be a horrific character arc for Dan Scott.
Apparently Haley thinks he's lying, as she ended the episode with a call to 911. Not enough credit is given to Bethany Joy for her wonderful work on One Tree Hill, so I will take this time to shower her with praise for the fantastic job...

Miranda: This was a pretty heavy episode, so funny is hard! I'll go with the guys at the bar one-upping each other.

One Tree Hill delivered yet another moving episode this week with the airing of “Don’t You Want to Share the Guilt?” There was so much guilt to be felt but an even greater abundance of compassion, understanding, and yes, competition. Tears were shed, laughs were had, and all in all this was one compelling hour that will be in our minds for some time.
Nathan (James Lafferty) finally returned from his oversees business trip, but did not make from the airport to his home. Where could he have gone? Please don’t keep Nathan away for too much longer. There are only so many episodes left until the series finale… having him away for the majority of the first half of the season is not at all satisfying. Nathan’s return will leave Dan (Paul Johansson) place of residence a mystery. Hmm. Where will Dan go? A murderer has got to sleep somewhere too.

Julian left Baby Davis in the hot car last week. Nathan didn't make it home on "Don't You Want to Share the Guilt?." Indeed, One Tree Hill is not slowing down at all in season nine.
Seriously, how many more of these cliff hangers can we take before we start to black out on the regular like Clay?
I'll get to the latest in a long line of twists and turns for Clay (that I could care less about) later on. First, this Nathan issue needs to be addressed. The stuffed animal he had for Lydia was lying by the curb at the airport, so the most logical conclusion is that harm was done to him after landing in Tree Hill.
Who would want to hurt Nathan? The only person that we are familiar with that has the means, the history, and the motive is... Dan Scott, the father. We know he can do harm.

If the opening moments of the One Tree Hill season 9 premiere didn't make it clear that these characters were going to face severe consequences over the next few weeks, then the final minutes of "Love the Way You Lie" certainly did.
Julian Baker, one of the few people in Tree Hill that we have been able to count on for stability over the past couple years, got a bit too excited about the prospect of producing a television show at his way too empty sound stage, and might be paying the ultimate price for it.
What, exactly, happened at the end there? Baby Davis was gone. Julian's car windows were smashed. There was a stretcher, cops and an ambulance at the scene. So was the baby stolen? Hurt? Worse?
