Donald Trump‘s national security adviser, John Bolton, said that the former president wants Americans to treat him like North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
Bolton shared in the X post a 2018 video of Trump talking to the Fox News host Steve Doocy days after his Singapore summit meeting with Kim.
“Are we close to seeing Mr. Kim here at the White House,” Doocy asked in the recording.
“It could happen,” Trump replied.
Trump then went on to compliment the North Korean supreme leader.
“He’s the head of a country,” Trump stated in the clip. “And I mean, he is the strong head. Don’t let anyone think anything different.
“He speaks, and his people sit up at attention,” he claimed. “I want my people to do the same.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer criticized Donald Trump for saying that any Jewish person voting for Democrats “hates their religion.”
Trump was recently asked on a podcast hosted by his former White House aide Sebastian Gorka, America First with Sebastian Gorka Podcast, about the criticism from the Biden administration and Schumer of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“I actually think they hate Israel,” he claimed. “I don’t think they hate him, I think they hate Israel. And the Democrat Party hates Israel.”
“Any Jewish person that votes for Democrats hates their religion,” he added. “They hate everything about Israel, and they should be ashamed of themselves because Israel will be destroyed.”
Trump slammed Schumer, who recently condemned Netanyahu’s government and demanded new elections in a speech on the Senate floor about Israel’s war on Hamas and the subsequent humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

General John Kelly, former President Donald Trump‘s White House chief of staff, confirmed several disturbing stories about his former boss.
Kelly said he witnessed Trump make disparaging comments about United States veterans and service members on several different occasions.
“A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them,” he told CNN, referring to Trump’s comments.
Kelly went on to say that Trump did not want to be seen with military amputees because “it doesn’t look good for me,” as well as showing contempt for Gold Star families. Kelly also stated that Trump refused to visit the graves of American soldiers in France because “it’s filled with losers.”
“God help us,” Kelly concluded.

Republicans are excusing Donald Trump after the former president channeled Hitler and accused immigrants of “poisoning the blood of our country.”

Donald Trump is leading Joe Biden in several polls with the 2024 election now less than a year away. The former president reportedly has long planned to overhaul the government in his image should he win another term, and Axios reported on Monday that his team is busy screening thousands of loyalists in the hopes of installing an army of up to 54,000 Maga diehards to expand the president’s power.

Joran van der Sloot, the man suspected to be involved in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in 2005, has confessed to her murder, a federal judge said on Tuesday.
Van der Sloot said in his plea agreement that he kicked Holloway in the face after she resisted his advances when they met in 2005 in Aruba, where he lived and she was visiting. He then crushed her head with a cinder block and threw her body into the ocean.
Van der Sloot was one of the last people to be seen with the then-18-year-old from Alabama before she went missing. He was indicted in 2010 on federal charges of extortion and wire fraud that were connected with a plan to sell information about Holloway to her mother, Beth Holloway, in exchange for $250,000.
According to the indictment, Beth wired $15,000 to van der Sloot’s bank account in the Netherlands and gave him another $10,000 in person.

The Apprentice alum Omarosa Manigault Newman isn’t mincing words about her former mentor Donald Trump’s political future.
During a press tour for E!’s House of Villains, Omarosa had some harsh comments for the ex-president.
“I think it would be very hard for Donald Trump to run for president from jail,” she said, referring to his numerous legal issues. “For me, I just can’t believe I fell for a con man, a con man who turned out to be the biggest fraud.”
Omarosa served as an assistant to the president during the Trump administration, beginning in January 2017, but was then fired by the White House Chief of Staff John Kelly just short of a year into her role for “significant integrity issues.”
Trump currently is facing several criminal legal cases. He also facing a civil case in New York that threatens to dissolve his company, the Trump Organization.

In the NYPD Blue Season One episode “Tempest in a C-Cup,” cop Andy Sipowicz and prosecutor Sylvia Costas wind up on an impromptu dinner date. To call the occasion unexpected would be a wild understatement, as we were introduced to the characters at the very start of the series with a drunken, rampaging Sipowicz grabbing his crotch and calling Sylvia a “pissy little bitch.” But Andy is sober now, and Sylvia finds herself charmed by his company. After he tells her about the aquarium of saltwater tropical fish he keeps in his apartment,...

Thirty years ago today, on September 21, 1993, at 10/9c, NYPD Blue premiered on ABC.
However, its debut didn't necessarily mean it reached every household.
The controversial series premiered to apocalyptic fanfare, with critics wondering if the series would usher in the end of TV as viewers knew it.
It’s funny the things you remember from your youth. I was at the age where the idea of a series willing to push the envelope, delivering a taste of the big screen on the small, sounded like an excellent idea.
They say that all publicity is good publicity, but people around the country were so concerned about the effect the show may have on the morals of the everyman that 57 local stations around the country refused to air the premiere.
A month later, there were still 45 ABC affiliates who, due to the possibility of coarse language and nudity, were still not airing it.

He also referred to Ivanka’s breasts and backside, leading White House Chief of Staff John Kelly to tell the president that she was his daughter.
This comes after multiple former staffers came out about Trump’s inappropriate behavior toward women while president and a New York jury found him guilty of sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll.

‘Jack Ryan’ Sets Premiere Date, Release Pattern For Abbreviated Fourth & Final Season On Prime Video
Fans of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan won’t have to wait long for the series’ final chapter. The fourth and final season of the popular Prime Video series starring John Krasinski will premiere June 30, just over six months after the Dec. 21 release of Season 3. That is by far the shortest gap between seasons, compared to 1 year and 2 months (between Seasons 1 and 2) and 3 years and 2 months (between Seasons 2 and 3).
Season 4 of Jack Ryan also will be the shortest. It will consist of six episodes, two fewer than each of the first three seasons. Additionally, the final installment will follow a different release pattern than Seasons 1-3, which all were dropped as a binge. Season 4 will release two episodes at a time, leading to the series finale on July 14. (Below is key art)

Omarosa Manigault Newman took her Unhinged book tour to Bill Maher’s Real Time, where she continued to torch the Trump administration she’d previously ordered us all to bow down before. This time, however, the interview wasn’t the walkover she’s come to expect.

Ann Coulter is warning President Trump that he cannot count on her support in 2020 just yet, telling TheWrap that she wants to see more progress on her immigration priorities before she commits to him for a second term in the White House.
“If the election were today, I’d vote for Trump solely because of his attacks on the press,” she said. “But a lot can happen in two years. Who knows?”
In fact, the conservative firebrand floated the names of some other Republicans who might win her support over Trump. “I bet we could trust Tom Cotton or David Perdue to build the wall,” she said, mentioning U.S. senators from Arkansas and Georgia, respectively. “Even the great [Kansas Secretary of State and gubernatorial candidate] Kris Kobach might be rested and ready!”

Her father-in-law Donald Trump, meanwhile, is so knicker-knotted that he’s being outplayed in the media by his disciple. He has called Omarosa a “lowlife,” wacky” and “a dog,” has filed an arbitration suit against her and now is throwing out the idea that Attorney General Jeff Sessions should have her jailed.
It is not clear on what grounds Sessions could pull that off, Gabe Sherman acknowledges in his Vanity Fair report on that interesting illustration of Potus state of mind.
“Omarosa was welcomed into our family as a trusted friend and confidant,” Lara Trump says in her statement responding to today’s tape drop and interview on MSNBC by the former White House communications staffer.

Omarosa Manigault Newman, trying to get her story back in the headlines on a very busy news day, has released another secret recording.
This time, Omarosa took to MSNBC to unveil a recording she said was made on December 16 of last year, within a couple days of being fired from her White House job by Chief of Staff John Kelly. In the recording President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law/campaign adviser Lara Trump appears to offer Omarosa a position on Trump’s re-election campaign.
The conversation takes place the day after a New York Times article, by Maggie Haberman, headlined: “Omarosa, Leaving the White House, Suggests the Show Will Go On.”
Lara Trump tells Omarosa the article left her with the impression Omarosa has “some things you’ve got in the back pocket to pull out. Clearly, if you come on board the campaign, like we can’t have, we’ve got to –”

Washington — Omarosa Manigault Newman released another audio recording on Thursday in which Lara Trump, President’s Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, is heard offering her a $15,000-a-month job on the 2020 campaign shortly after she was fired from her White House post.
Manigault Newman contends that she was offered the job in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement in which she would not say anything negative about the president, his family, or Vice President Mike Pence and his family. She declined the offer.
“It sounds a little like, obviously, that there are some things you’ve got in the back pocket to pull out,” Lara Trump is heard saying. “Clearly, if you come on board the campaign, like, we can’t have, we got to…”
Manigault Newman then says, “Oh, God, no.”

It’s probably still too soon for anyone to guess how the drama between Donald Trump and everyone in the United States will end, but it feels like Omarosa Manigault Newman’s secret recordings of conversations in the White House could be a tipping point. Which is hilarious, as Seth Meyers noted in a new edition of “A Closer Look” on “Late Night” Wednesday night.
“Omarosa’s tell-all book has a lot of sensational allegations, like her claim that she saw Trump put a note in his mouth,” Meyers said. “Now, this is Omarosa we’re talking about. So anything she says should be taken with a grain of lithium. But yesterday she dropped a new bombshell claiming that Trump knew in advance about the Hillary Clinton emails that Russia hacked during the campaign.”
Cue the video of Omarosa on MSNBC declaring that Trump admitted knowledge of those emails before they were released by WikiLeaks.

President Donald Trump had a tough TV morning.
Assuming he was getting his daily morning small-screen briefing, he may have seen the gang at Fox & Friends scolding him Wednesday for getting outplayed by Omarosa Manigault Newman after “taking the bait.”
Brian Kilmeade likened it to when Trump last fell for that strategy, back when former flatterer Michael Wolff was plugging his salacious White House intrigue book Fire And Fury: Inside the Trump White House.
This time, Trump has been played by someone he hired and fired three times, in make believe, on NBC’s The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice before hiring her, for realsies, to work in the White House.

Omarosa Manigault Newman continued to drag Donald Trump and the White House on The Daily Show in a very measured interview with Trevor Noah.
During her appearance on The Daily Show she, of course, continued her promotional blitz for her book Unhinged but Noah was fascinated with how she has managed to “out-Trump Trump” since she left the White House.
She talked about how she regrets being “totally complicit” while working at the White House and how they “lie to the American people every single day.”
“Every day he dismantles the dignity of that office,” she said of Trump.
But the real meat of the interview was why she released those secret tapes of her getting fired by John Kelly, and the discussion of the use of the N-word.
Omarosa, at the request of a team of lawyers, was being very careful about what she told Noah because Trump has threatened her with court action.

We all know that former Donald Trump adviser-turned-enemy Omarosa Manigault Newman starred on the president’s NBC reality show “The Apprentice” (three times!). But did you forget that she also had her own dating show produced by Trump?
In 2010, Manigault Newman starred in the reality dating show. And if you didn’t know it was produced by Trump, you weren’t reading the title: “Donald Trump Presents: The Ultimate Merger.” The show was something of a cross between “The Bachelorette” and “The Apprentice,” with Trump himself picking the 12 suitors, who stayed at (guess where) a Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.
“The Ultimate Merger” also featured a spiritual adviser, Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant, who was pastor of the Empowerment Temple A.M.E. Church in Baltimore.

It doesn’t look like Omarosa Manigault Newman will be joining the “Real Housewives” franchise anytime soon.
After “Real Housewives of Dallas” star D’Andra Simmons suggested to TMZ that the former White House aide would be “an amazing” cast member on the Bravo series, executive producer Andy Cohen weighed in on Twitter to kick the idea to the curb.
“Love D’Andra but that’s a Hard Pass,” Cohen said of the idea of Manigault Newman joining the show.

The former “Apprentice” contestant has been making headlines this week for blasting Donald Trump and leaking tapes that she secretly recorded while working in the White House. This morning, Manigault Newman told “CBS This Morning” that she had no choice but to tape conversations in order to protect herself.

Undaunted by the Donald Trump campaign’s legal move to shut her up, Omarosa Manigault Newman took to MSNBC this afternoon to claim he knew about Hillary Clinton’s stolen emails prior to their release by Wikileaks during the campaign.
“Did Donald Trump know about those emails before they came out?” Katy Tur asked during her MSNBC hour.
“Absolutely,” Omarosa responded.
“He knew what was coming out before Wikileaks released them?” Tur asked, to clarify.
“Yes,” Omarosa said.
Omarosa said she would “leave that to lawyers to sort out” when asked about the Trump campaign filing arbitration against her earlier in the day, adding “it’s interesting he’s trying to silence me.”

In a three-day media blitz, former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman has been leaking secretly recorded audio tapes, some of which she made while inside the most secure recesses of the White House — and it all appears to be perfectly legal.
Multiple legal experts told TheWrap this week that while Omarosa’s actions may have been duplicitous and underhanded, anyone expecting criminal charges will be waiting a long time as it is perfectly legal in Washington, D.C., for one party in a conversation to record it — even without the permission (or knowledge) of the other parties.
“She’s not going to jail. She’s not facing any charges, the reason being that Washington, D.C., is a one-party consent state,” David S. Weinstein a former federal prosecutor and attorney at Hinshaw & Culbertson Llp told TheWrap Tuesday. “There is no criminal statute that she is violating.”

The White House defended President Donald Trump’s use of “dog” to describe former liaison office communications director Omarosa Manigault Newman, because, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said today, it was not racial.
“This has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with the President calling out someone’s lack of integrity,” said Sanders who, to her credit, did not cancel today’s press briefing after Trump’s unhinged morning tweet.
“The President is always somebody who’s going to fight fire with fire,” Sanders explained.
In his tweets, also calling Omarosa “lowlife” and “wacky,” Trump is “voicing his frustration with the fact this person has shown complete lack of integrity….following her time at the White House,” Sanders translated.
Asked why he hired Omarosa in the first place, if he held her in such low regard, Sanders said he “wanted to give her a chance.”

Washington — The campaign of President Donald Trump is taking legal action against Omarosa Manigault Newman, claiming that she violated a 2016 non-disclosure agreement with the release of her new book.
“Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Omarosa Manigault-Newman, with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign,” a company official confirmed to Variety.
The legal action is being filed with the American Arbitration Association, a campaign aide told the Associated Press. Donald Trump campaign has tweeted:
“Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Omarosa Manigault-Newman, with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign.”
The legal move comes as Omarosa’s Unhinged book tour and accompanying release of secret tapes she made of Trump and various staffers was clearly getting under Trump’s skin. This morning, in a tweet some might describe as “unhinged,” he described her as a “dog,” and a “crazed, crying lowlife” who he gave “a break” and “a job at the White House.”

Omarosa continues her drip-drip release of tape recordings of President Donald Trump and his staff as she plugs her new book, Unhinged, on TV news programs.
This morning, visiting CBS This Morning, she unveiled tape of Trump campaign staffers Katrina Pierson and Lynne Patton talking to her about that rumored tape of Trump using the n-word during Apprentice shooting. In the tape, a voice that sounds like Pierson is heard saying, in re Trump, “he said it…No, he said it. He’s embarrassed.”
Pierson and Patton had fired back in a statement:
No one ever denied the existence of conversations about a reported ‘Apprentice’ tape.
Of course there were multiple discussions about it…because Omarosa was obsessed with it.
What has been definitively refuted is that we never had a call confirming that Frank Luntz, or anyone else, directly heard Donald J. Trump use derogatory language on this alleged tape.

In the recording, made last December, Trump appears to be surprised that she is departing. NBC’s “Today” played the recording on Monday, along with an interview with Manigault Newman. She is in the midst of promoting her new book, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.”
“Omarosa, what’s going on? I just saw on the news that you’re thinking about leaving? What happened?” Trump asks her.
“General Kelly – General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave,” Manigault Newman responds.
“No… I, I – Nobody even told me about it,” Trump says.
“Wow,” she replies, to which Trump says, “You know they run a big operation, but I didn’t know it.
