In the 1995 movie "Waterworld," Kevin Costner was the draw in more ways than one. To much of the audience, he was still the glamorous movie star who had managed to pull off a blockbuster "Robin Hood" movie despite his inability to successfully nail an English accent. To others, he seemed like he might be a potential trainwreck on the verge of derailment. "Waterworld" had fallen victim to many behind-the-scenes tales of sinking sets, director fights, and Costner rewriting the script to make himself look better. Ultimately, for one reason or another, enough people were curious about the film that it turned a profit. However difficult he may have been behind the scenes, the star turned out to still have it.
Within the movie, however, the person everyone wants to see is Enola, a nine year-old girl whose back tattoo features an encoded map to the last bit of dry land on a post-climate change world.

Joel Schumacher followed up Batman Forever with a march back into the world of John Grisham. We look back at A Time To Kill...
"Until we can see each other as equals, justice is never going to be even-handed. It will remain nothing more than a reflection of our own prejudices." - Jake
The Recap
After having huge box office, if not critical success with Batman Forever, Joel Schumacher's next film would see him going back to his more dramatic roots, adapting another of John Grisham's bestsellers for the big screen.
Set in rural Mississippi, two white supremacists come across Tonya Hailey (RaeVen Larrymore Kelly), a 10-year-old black girl making her way home. The two brutally attack and rape her before trying to hang her from a tree. After the hanging fails, the two dump her body in a nearby river hoping that the elements will take their toll and kill her.

Collective Development's production Locked in a Room recently completed shooting with help from At Risk Entertainment. The film hosts an assortment of genre favourites including Carlucci Weyant (Karma), Rae'Ven Larrymore Kelly (The Preacher’s Kid), Robert Miano (Donnie Brasco), Dean Teaster (Dean Teaster’s Ghost Town), and DJ Perry (An Ordinary Killer). Distribution has not been confirmed yet, but expect this film to be available in the fourth quarter of 2010 (a prediction).
If you are not familiar with the story, Locked in a Room starts with three teenagers locked in "three separate rooms" (28Dla). Sounds simple enough, except events get mysterious and deadly when an anonymous male voice demands they escape, but can they? These dressed down one or two set constructions have been popular e.g. Nine Dead because of their reliance on characterizations and writing rather than complex set design and multiple locations. Further info' below.
