There are two movie monsters that have proven to be successful time and time again as Michael Kennedy of Screenrant alludes to, and those are zombies, and vampires. Zombies have been a huge hit ever since Night of the Living Dead first came around while vampires have been popular even longer thanks to the different ways in which they’ve been portrayed. There’s only so many ways to depict a rotting corpse that feeds on flesh, but the state of vampires in pop culture have seen them go from murderous bloodsucking fiends to angsty teens that are hesitant about turning a

At this point it would be nice if people stopped freaking out about the Coronavirus so that the media might actually calm down to the point where they might treat it like what it is, a virus with a very low mortality rate due to those that are most at risk are those with immune deficiencies, and is harder to contract than people think. Unfortunately, as Michael Kennedy of Screenrant and many others are willing to push, the Coronavirus is undoubtedly scary since it’s one of the most widespread diseases in, well, not ever but definitely within the last several

The fact that it gained a cult following isn’t too surprising since it was released in the same era as Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, meaning it’s a slasher movie that was banking on

I would really like to agree with Michael Kennedy of Screenrant and state that a Hellraiser reboot is definitely due but it’s too easy to think that this is an idea that needs to be handled with kid gloves if only because this movie was great in the first and second parts, but after that really hit a downward slide that hasn’t ended yet. Pinhead and the Cenobites had a big chance to become among the most feared monsters in horror history, but something really fell off the rails after the second movie and after that nothing came out right

Michael Kennedy from ScreenRant and many others that have either seen Event Horizon or have at least heard of it have come to realize that the realm that the ship inadvertently traveled to is commonly referred to as Hell. What Dr. Weir, played by Sam Neill, alluded to however is that the realm is so much worse than Hell since it is unbridled chaos of the type that revels in slaughter and the desecration of flesh, as could be seen in the various images throughout the movie. In short, the ship had brought back something, a sentience of some sort,
