- Rudolph G. Kopp was born on March 22, 1887 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. He was a composer, known for Mystery Street (1950), Cry of the Hunted (1953) and The Doctor and the Girl (1949). He was married to Vila Ester. He died on February 20, 1972 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

- Kopp was a member of the Brahms String Quintet, performing the works of many composers, in the Los Angeles area between 1910 and 1917. In 1933 he was considered by the Milwaukee City Symphony for the post of chief conductor. As he was composing for Cecil B. DeMille's "Sign of the Cross" at this time he did not accept.
