- Ed Kranepool was born on November 8, 1944 in Bronx, New York, USA. He is an actor, known for It's My Turn (1980), Everybody Loves Raymond (1996) and 1973 World Series (1973). He has been married to Monica since September 19, 1981. He was previously married to Carole Henson.

- Declared himself a free agent after the 1979 season and retired when no ballclub offered to sign him.
