When you look back at what passed for kid’s TV in the UK back in the day, it’s a wonder we aren’t all in therapy. Oh sure, the 80s and 90s might have looked all innocent with its Art Attack and Pingu, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find some frankly harrowing children’s television output, quite literally the stuff of nightmares.
If you’re feeling brave, let’s take a quick nostalgia trip and revisit some of Britain’s most terrifying kids’ TV moments:
The Demon Headmaster
Even the theme tune to this BBC children’s TV classic was scary, with its ominous beat and whispering voices, but the reason The Demon Headmaster shook 90s kids to the core lies in Terrence Hardiman’s truly sinister performance as the headmaster himself. The deep menace to his voice was only intensified by his billowing black...

New 'iron Man 3' major spoilers reveal in depth Mandarin enemy plotlines & more. According to idigitaltimes, Andrew Lawden, who is a current Marvel employee and a stuntman/actor,chatted it up on a radio show, and dished major spoiler scoops for the upcoming "Iron Man 3" super hero/action flick. They're really detailed too. So much,in fact, that I wouldn't be surprised if he got fired by Marvel. Anyways, here we go. Andrew told them, " there's going to be a big fight sequence with The Mandarin, who's the main villain, which will involve none other than forty different iron man suits. There's an amazing rescue where The Mandarin basically wants to bring down the American government and kill the President, and he launches an attack on Air Force One. All of them, the President and his men and staff ,get sucked out of the plane, and Iron Man rescues...

For those of you who are still reeling from the sheer awesomeness of the first Iron Man 3 trailer that just hit the Web: hold on to your armrests. Marvel employee, and English actor/stuntman, Andrew Lawden was interviewed in a recent episode of the BombadRadio podcast (via ScreenRant) and dropped a boatload of potential spoilers for Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World.
Lawden currently wears the Iron Man armor during Marvel and Disney’s live publicity promotions (sorry but it’s not Robert Downey Jr. folks). Much of his information comes first-hand and through colleagues working on the set of Thor: The Dark World.
On the great action sequences we can expect in Iron Man 3:

Stuntman Andrew Lawden recently appeared on Bombad Radio, where he revealed major scenes from "Thor: The Dark World." During that same interview, he also spoke about "Iron Man 3" and all the details about how Iron Man will attempt to stop The Mandarin. Spoilers Ahead: "There's going to be a big fight sequence with The Mandarin, who's the main villain, which will involve forty different Iron Man suits. There's an amazing rescue where The Mandarin wants to bring down the American government and kill the President, and he launches an attack on Air Force One. All of them - the President and his men and staff - get sucked out of the plane, and Iron Man rescues them by forming this amazing human chain in the sky. There's an amazing sequence where [Tony Stark's] rooftop house, that he builds to store all his Iron Man suits, gets attacked by The Mandarin. I...

Stuntman Andrew Lawden appeared on Bombad Radio, where he spoke freely about the upcoming "Thor" sequel, called "Thor: The Dark World." He reveals some of the most important scenes in the movie, including a character's death. Spoilers Ahead: "Thor becomes reunited with Jane who becomes possessed by a Dark Spirit, which is connected with the Dark Elves; a race the Asgardians [are unfriendly with]... The Dark Elves attack Asgard, [badly crippling them]. So Thor has to rebuild Asgard by putting together an army to go and take the battle to the Dark Elves and defeat them. But the only way he can do this is . he needs to cross over to the Dark World, and the only person who has access to the dark side of Asgard is his brother Loki, who at the beginning of the film is locked up in prison. Thor basically has to negotiate this truce with Loki, and he goes on this great trek with Jane,...

Some Humongous Spoilers (If True) Below, So Read On At Your Own Risk So apparently English stuntman/Marvel guy Andrew Lawden is tired of cashing Marvel Studios paychecks, because according to reports, Lawden recently did an interview with something called BombadRadio (a “Star Wars” web podcast, by the looks of their site) and spoiled some huge plot points from Marvel’s upcoming “Thor: The Dark World”, along with some juicy tidbits from Shane Black’s “Iron Man 3″, the trailer for which is due tomorrow. So who is this Lawden fellow? According to Screen Rant: Lawden may not sound or look familiar to audiences, but he’s the actor currently embodying the Iron Man armor during live promotions as part of Marvel and Disney’s extended publicity. Wearing Tony Stark’s armor while glad-handing and performing publicly isn’t the only perk of the job, it seems. So yes, he...

While chatting on Bombad Radio, Marvel Studios stuntman Andrew Lawden spoke very freely about some of the things we can expect in two of Marvel's highly anticipated phase 2 movies, Thor: The Dark World and Iron Man 3. As I said, we can't be certain all of this is completely accurate, but I can't see any reason for the guy to make it up either, so we'll run under the assumption that these are legit Spoilers, and you can consider that your final warning! If you don't want to know details on the likes of a Mandarin/Iron Man clash, plot development in Thor 2 involving Jane Foster, and a main character's death, stop reading now.. Thor: The Dark World - "Thor becomes reunited with Jane who becomes possessed by a Dark Spirit, which is connected with the Dark Elves; a race the Asgardians have fallen out with many years beforehand...
