After discharged, started to sing at the nightclub "The Horn" in Los Angeles, California.
Was an art major in high school and completed two years at the Philadelphia Museum College of Art before enlisted in the US Army and worked as chaplain's assistant while stationed in Germany. He also directed a choir and played the organ.
Joined the Screen Extras Guild to work as an extra. (1964)
(October 12th, 1987) Was elected as Union Rep. for the Screen Extras Guild (SEG) to the Board of Directors.
Designed the logo for the Screen Extras Guild magazine "Background Action".
(1972-1979) Moved with his wife Shirley and their three children to Houston, Texas in 1972. In January 1979 they moved to Garland near Dallas and a few months later the family moved back to California.
Had an audition interview for the 1967 Joshua Logan film "Camelot".
