Shane Le Mar Comedian, Singer/Songwriter, Actor. Born in Kingston
Jamaica May 10th 1963, he is the youngest of six children. Shane
immigrated to the United States with his family October 1973, attended
public school from fifth grade to twelfth grade 1973-1980 and Palm
Beach Community College where he studied Aviation, Real Estate and
Economics 1980-1983.
Shane broke into professional entertainment in 1986 when he was cast as
a lead performer in the Howelltone & Howellets Rock and Roll Review.
Shane played the roles of Rock and Roll legends, Little Richard, Ray
Charles and Chuck Berry, where he co-headlined and opened for
entertainers John Derose and Jessie King who played the role of Elvis
Presley.
Shane's television career started in summer 1989 when he worked on the
original Miami Vice television program in its final season as a Metro
Dade Police Officer. Shane was on a total of five episodes as an
Aftermath Cop, with the name badge of Pistol Expert Evans. Shane
continues to work in the entertainment industry; he is a voting member
of the Grammy Awards, and of the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Shane
lives in Fort Lauderdale Beach Florida where he and his manager own and
operate Shane LeMar Entertainment & Productions, a company that
produces all of Shane's music, Internet and video projects, shows and
performances.
