The Challenge star Chris “Ct” Tamburello received backlash after appearing on his newest reality TV show, The Traitors 2.
Ct is known for his storied MTV career on The Real World and The Challenge, which included plenty of drama, fights, and occasional backstabbing or betrayal.
In recent years, The Challenge viewers have seen a more mature version of Ct, who even opted to share money with castmates after winning Spies, Lies & Allies with Kaycee Clark.
He took a hiatus from MTV’s competition before returning briefly for an elimination appearance in Season 39, aka Battle For a New Champion. At the same time, he appeared throughout The Traitors Season 2 episodes on Peacock.
Joining him were fellow Challenge stars Trishelle Cannatella and Johnny Bananas.
While Bananas was an early exit, Trishelle and Ct survived with three other contestants into the finale, where The Traitors 2 winners were revealed.
Spoilers will appear in this report from The Traitors Season 2 finale.

The Challenge Season 40 could be legendary based on speculation swirling over the cast.
While only a few competitors have been revealed so far, a recent addition to the rumored list is one of the game’s all-time greats.
Season 39, Battle For a New Champion, featured some of the show’s multi-time winners, including Darrell Taylor, Cara Maria Sorbello, and Ct Tamburello.
However, they only briefly appeared in one episode for an elimination event. Each attempted to eliminate a main cast member and take home $10,000 of the cast’s prize money.
Viewers hope to see more familiar faces with the yet-to-be-titled season, which some believe could be the last one shown exclusively on MTV.
This report could contain spoilers with potential cast members for the upcoming season.

MTV’s The Challenge Season 39 cast started with players who’ve never won a season. While the original cast members compete against each other to get to the final, they have a new obstacle: the veteran mercenaries. The mercenaries go head to head with the cast members in eliminations, and if a mercenary wins, they take money from the prize pot. According to spoilers, the mercenaries can lose their pay if they throw the competition.

Jag Bains made history on “Big Brother 25” Sunday night when he claimed his seventh Power of Veto, passing Michael Bruner‘s previous record of six he set just last year. Unlike Michael, Jag was able to secure a place in the season finale which will air Thursday, November 9 on CBS. After winning the Veto, the 25-year old from Omak, Washington cast the sole vote to evict Felicia Cannon. Next he will face off against Bowie Jane and Matt Klotz in the two-part final Hoh competition. The winner of that will decide who the jury votes for as the Season 25 champ and the $750,000 grand prize.
Other all-time Veto legends include Janelle Pierzina (Season 7), Daniele Briones (Season 8), Paul Abrahamian (Season 19) and Kaycee Clark (Season 20), who each won five times. See the full list in order of wins in our gallery above.

As "Yellowstone" diehards endlessly await the eventual conclusion of the series, the Sheridan-verse is experiencing another renaissance now that season 1 is being aired on network television for the very first time. That's also breathing new life into one of the main characters that has unfortunately been relegated to the sidelines more and more with each passing season of the show. Wife to Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) and longtime resident at the Broken Rock Indian Reservation, Monica Long (Kelsey Asbille) is a powerhouse in "Yellowstone" season 1.
Monica is one of the last true holdouts that keeps Kaycee away from the controlling arms of his father, John Dutton (Kevin Costner), and she's a beacon of light as a school teacher in a community that desperately needs to hold onto their culture and remember the importance of a good education. Viewers currently watching the show on CBS can see that she's easily...

It took guts to re-air any part of Yellowstone on CBS.
Yellowstone Season 1 Episode 1 was not the sanitized Westerns of the 1950s and 1960s. This series tells it like it is, and the coarse language is an important part of the Western's character. So is the violence.
Nothing in this series is gratuitous, but it is graphic -- and originally made for cable, where there are looser standards about what can and cannot be said.
The introduction to the Duttons felt more like a movie than a television series. The cinematography was breathtaking, but I was struck by the symbolism of the opening scene and how well it foreshadowed Lee's death.
It's not fair, this life. I wish I could give you better. The best I can offer you is peace.
John Dutton Permalink: It's not fair, this life. I wish I could give you better. The best I can offer you is peace.

Season 25 of “Big Brother” kicks off with a live 90-minute episode on CBS August 2. It will likely begin with the first Head of Household competition, granting someone with a distinct advantage as the houseguests get to know each other. The Hoh will choose two people to go on the block for eviction, both of whom can ultimately save themselves with the Power of Veto. But what is the Power of Veto? And who has won the most in Bb history?
The golden Power of Veto was introduced at the end of “Big Brother” season 3. It allows the owner to remove one of the nominees for eviction from the block. The Pov also guarantees the holder safety should one of the nominees be removed. Unless there is some sort of twist, the Head of Household must choose a replacement nominee for whoever is taken off the block.

The inevitable finally happened.
It was no big surprise when Alicia walked out of Spencer's life for the final time on All American Season 5 Episode 18.
Spencer, Alicia, and Olivia had been fooling themselves for much of this season.
That ended when Liv decided to try being a college student.
It was a miracle that she hadn't flunked out already after spending all her time at work, where she had been busy making a pseudonym for herself.
Since Olivia has outed herself as Jayden Davis, her life has been changing unexpectedly.
Watching her housemates laugh at her was hilarious when she declared that she would embrace the college experience.
Their skepticism was based on her workaholic track record. At least Layla had long ago realized she couldn't grow a thriving studio while dabbling as a college student.
Since Liv is now an award-winning journalist, she can't be blamed for sampling campus life.

“Truth won’t win the battle… menace will,” tough-as-nails “Yellowstone” patriarch John Dutton utters coldly and indignantly in the lead-up to the devastating conclusion of a rip-roaring first half of the Paramount Network blockbuster’s fifth season. The first eight episodes of the show’s fifth season concluded in January, so fans of TV’s top-rated show are now clamoring for the series’ return. The second half of the season is due later this year, promising even more bloodshed and tears, political in-fighting, back-stabbing, fist-fights and corporate scheming set against the breathtaking backdrop of the unforgiving Montana wilderness.

The Challenge: World Championship episode 5 ended with a stalemate that resulted in Ben Driebergen and Kaycee Clark seemingly getting blindsided into elimination. Ben might have unintentionally put them in the Arena by not voting for Jordan Wiseley and Kaz Crossley, as he previously told Danny McCray. However, it’s possible Ben didn’t cause the stalemate because Jodi Weatherton claimed it would have been prevented if one of her allies voted with her and Team Australia.

The Challenge: Australia champ Kiki Morris didn’t watch the MTV franchise before competing in World Championship. Therefore, her decision to pick four-time champ Darrell Taylor had nothing to do with his historic run on the show.
Kiki Morris explains why she chose Darrell Taylor as a partner in ‘The Challenge: World Championship’
The Challenge: Australia winner Kiki Morris was the fourth female global Mvp to pick a legend, and she chose four-time champ Darrell Taylor after Wes Bergmann, Jordan Wiseley, and Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio were already selected.
In a March 2023 interview with The Challenge Chronicles, the Australian reality TV star admitted she hadn’t watched the show before and didn’t know anyone’s prior accolades before heading into the season. Based on their conversation after the qualifier, she chose the only player to win four seasons in a row.

This time last year, I was convinced that British actress Kelly Reilly would finally receive her first ever Emmy nomination for playing Beth Dutton on Paramount Network’s blockbuster neo-Western “Yellowstone.” Reilly fits the bill for that kind of television character that comes along every once in a while that hits a nerve with fans, driving viewership and generating deafening social media buzz. I figured that Emmy voters could not possibly deny that Reilly had crafted a character that is so memorable and popular, that they wouldn’t resist giving her a spot in the competitive Best Drama Actress lineup. Fast forward a few months to July 2022, and Reilly shockingly missed out on a nomination. To make matters worse, the TV academy inexplicably snubbed “Yellowstone” across the board, despite its popularity with audiences and critics.
So, here we are again. Nominations for the 2023 Emmy Awards are months away (they are...

Reality TV star Amber Borzotra previously competed on Big Brother, the same franchise as several other competitors who also joined The Challenge. They have teamed up and expanded into the Vacation Alliance but seemingly refuse to work with her. She recently opened up about being excluded from the group, calling it “weird.”
Amber Borzotra hasn’t become a part of the ‘Big Brother’ alliance
Big Brother alums Kaycee Clark, Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat, Josh Martinez, Bayleigh Dayton, and Chris “Swaggy C” Williams joined MTV’s The Challenge in season 35’s Total Madness.
Additionally, all of them, except for Josh, who won season 19, competed in season 20, with Kaycee walking away with the victory. Therefore, they were familiar with each other and instantly teamed up until Kaycee sided with Nany González over Bayleigh, resulting in a massive blowout.
Love Islanders, Survivors, and Big Brother roomies from all over the world ? are joining the fray this season!

The Challenge 38 champions Devin Walker and Tori Deal followed in last season’s winners Ct Tamburello and Kayce Clark’s footsteps by sharing their prize money. However, Devin admitted taxes might have played a role in his decision.
Devin Walker and Tori Deal gave other ‘Ride or Dies’ finalists 38,000
Last season, winners Ct Tamburello and Kaycee Clark split their million-dollar earnings with other finalists Devin Walker and Tori Deal, giving them 50,000 each.
Devin and Tori went on to win Ride or Dies as teammates and continued the tradition by giving 38,000 to all the other finalists: Olivia Kaiser and Horacio Gutiérrez, Aneesa Ferreira and Jordan Wiseley, and Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio and Nany González.

TV’s number 1 show is “Yellowstone.” Fans love it. Critics love it. The TV industry loves it. But will the motley crew of international journalists at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association finally catch on to TV’s biggest blockbuster? We’re about to find out, as the HFPA are about to unveil its nominations for the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards on Monday, December 12.
The Paramount Network hit series broke ratings records and shattered hearts last season, as its premiere was watched by a staggering 8.38 million live viewers, becoming cable’s most watched episode of any series since 2018. Season 5 (which premiered last month) built on that success, with the neo-Western captivating 12.1 million live-plus-same-day viewers, a huge uptick on an already high watermark. Numbers like that are almost unheard of these days in a TV landscape that is so fractured by hundreds of choices across a multitude of platforms and networks.

Moriah Jadea will appear as a rookie in The Challenge: Ride or Dies. Pic credit: @moriahjadea/Instagram
The Challenge: Ride or Dies season will bring some familiar faces to the competition series, including Johnny Bananas, Nany Gonzalez, Nelson Thomas, Laurel Stuckey, Tori Deal, and Jordan Wiseley.
However, it also brings in some brand new competitors, as rookies will look to make a name for themselves by battling the vets and attempting to reach the final.
Moriah Jadea is one of those new rookies and will be partners with a top competitor in the game, Fessy Shafaat, as he hopes to win his first season.
As fans saw in Season 37, Fessy cost himself another chance at winning the show, this time due to an altercation with his friend, Josh Martinez.
Josh and Fessy are no strangers to receiving critical comments from fans online and even hate, something they’ve likely experienced throughout their reality TV careers.

In one of the most improbable runs in “Big Brother” and reality TV history, Taylor Hale won “Big Brother 24” on Sunday, nearly three months after she was ostracized and targeted by the house in the very first week of the game. She also won America’s Favorite Houseguest, the first game winner to take home the 50,000 prize.
Entering the finale, Taylor was dejected after losing the first two parts of the final Hoh to Matthew Turner and Monte Taylor, respectively, meaning she would have to rely on one of them to bring her to the final two. Monte won the third part and kept his promise to take her to the final two, where the former Miss Michigan crushed the jury Q&a and delivered a final speech for the ages, “challenging” the jury to vote for someone with resiliency and persistence instead of just comp wins. The 24th season of “Big Brother” may have just produced its first all-star in Michael Bruner. The 28-year old from Rochester, Minnesota won his fifth Power of Veto competition on Wednesday night, which ties the record set by Janelle Pierzina (Season 7), Daniele Briones (Season 8), Paul Abrahamian (Season 19) and Kaycee Clark (Season 20). Michael achieved this feat in less than 60 days inside the Bb house, faster than anyone else in the show’s history.
Janelle still stands alone in overall single-season comp victories. With four Head of Household reigns, the Bb Prom Queen won nine competitions during her 67-day stay in 2006. To date, Michael has won two HOHs for a total of seven comp wins, putting him within striking distance of more history. But how long can he avoid the block?

“He’s like nobody I’ve ever played in my life as an actor or even met on this planet,” declares Cole Hauser about portraying the tough-as-nails rancher with a heart of gold Rip Wheeler on “Yellowstone.” For our recent webchat he adds, “I’ve met some extraordinary people, I’ve been taught by some extraordinary people through acting, whether they’re soldiers or cowboys or pilots or astronauts, I mean the list goes on and on and on.
