Deadbeat - Makes You Stronger (review here) proves that sometimes death is only the start of our problems. We recently chatted with author Guy Adams about his new novel, what inspired its dark moments and what lies ahead for the Deadbeat series.
Amanda Dyar: Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to talk with us. To start off, can you tell us a little about yourself and your recent work as a writer?
Guy Adams: No problem at all, thanks for asking me!
I'm an English writer currently living in Spain because if you're going to lock yourself in your office all day, it may as well be a nice outside world you're not seeing.
I've done a real mixture of stuff over the years. I wrote a novel called The World House for Angry Robot books followed by a sequel Restoration. I've written three novels...

Editor: Stephen Jones.
Writers: Peter Atkins, Peter Crowther, Paul Finch, Christopher Fowler, Tim Lebbon, Paul McAuley, Kim Newman, John Llewellyn Probert, Mark Samuels, Pat Cadigan, Scott Edelman, Jo Fletcher, Robert hood, Tanith Lee, Lisa Morton, Sarah Pinborough, Jay Russell, Mandy Slater, and Michael Marshall Smith.
There seems to be a massive resurgence in everything zombie, or zombie-like nowadays. From books such as Craig Dilouie's The Infection, to film e.g. World War Z and even in digital games like "Dead Island," there is no shortage of undead material to get your rotten hands onto. Therefore, the zombie literature genre is a competitive market, one where the creme (cream) thankfully shambles to the top. This is the case with Stephen Jones' version of the coming zombocalypse. Released in paperback form December 7th, Zombie Apocalypse unites several horror fiction writers to believably tell tales of the undead. In no time, London falls,...

We’ve been telling you local Mormons in the Brown’s town of Lehi, Utah are completely divided, but new reports suggest Kody is taking big heat from community leaders.
Kody Brown might be regretting his decision to air his multi-wife lifestyle on a reality TV show. The star of Tlc’s Sister Wives is at the center of a polygamy investigation in Lehi, Utah, where he currently resides with his four wives and sixteen children. It turns out Kody approached his Utah church “community leader” before starting to film the seven part documentary series, but TMZ reports Kody did not get his blessing.
We recently told you that HollywoodLife.com spoke with friends close to the Browns, who revealed that they were worried when Kody told them he wanted to do a reality TV show.
“His best friend was worried about him, we were worried about him being prosecuted,...

On Tlc’s Sister Wives, the Brown family appears to be a happy, functioning example of polygamy — but our expert explains the real dangers of a polygamous lifestyle!
If you’re like most people, you probably don’t know a ton about polygamy; you might even think it’s legal in some states. After watching the Sept. 26 season premiere of Tlc’s new reality show, Sister Wives, I was shocked to see four happy women living under one roof, sharing one man [Kody Brown], with seemingly little problems. Wondering if this wasn’t the most accurate representation of life in a polygamist family, I decided to do some digging.
I tracked down former polygamist John Llewellyn, 77, who currently resides in Utah. Once a Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Lieutenant who primarily investigated polygamist cults, John actually adopted the lifestyle and practiced polygamy for 25 years.
“In 1994 all of my wives left me except for one,...
