- (July 1981) He and Leo Stein wrote the book for the musical, "The Merry Widow," at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit, Maine. Franz Lehar was composer. Adrian Ross was lyricist. Viktor Leon and Leo Stein wrote the book.
- (Summer 1977) Leo Stein and his musical, "The Merry Widow," was performed in a Kenley Players production at the Packard Music Hall Theatre in Warren; the Veterans Memorial Theatre in Columbus and Memorial Hall in Dayton, Ohio with Barbara Meister in the cast. John Kenley was artistic director.
