Chris Harrison’s exit from The Bachelor franchise was heard around the reality TV world. But now, the former host is discussing the idea of returning to the ABC series. Find out why Harrison would “entertain the call” about returning to host The Bachelor and The Bachelorette despite saying “that ship has sailed” previously.

“The real question is would you consider going back?” Harrison’s guest Tori Spelling asked on The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever. Harrison said, “it’s complicated.”
“… I live by the axiom ‘never say never,'” Harrison elaborated. “I just think in life and in business that comes back to bite you in the butt. I’ll never say never, but with that said, it is complicated. Would I have that conversation? Yes.”

Stop me if you've heard this one. A new show kicks off with lackluster ratings, so the cast and/or crew try to rally fans online, so that it won't be cancelled. Yvette Nicole Brown, who knows all about TV series cancellations, co-stars on The Mayor TV show on ABC. The Community veteran took to social media over the weekend to remind viewers that if the sitcom doesn't draw more viewers (particularly those in Nielsen households), a second season renewal is unlikely. An ABC comedy from creator Jeremy Bronson, The Mayor stars Brandon Micheal Hall, Lea Michele, Bernard David Jones, Marcel Spears, and Brown. After years of drudgery, hip-hop artist Courtney Rose (Hall) runs for office to boost his music career and accidentally wins. Despite a choice timeslot following Black-ish, The Mayor seems to be hemorrhaging viewers for the Alphabet Network, so it...

After scuttling a proposed spinoff of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." earlier this year, ABC has reportedly ordered a pilot for another Marvel series, centered around Mockingbird.
Variety reports that "Marvel's Most Wanted" would focus on "S.H.I.E.L.D." star Adrianne Palicki's character, Bobbi Morse -- a.k.a. Mockingbird -- and actor Nick Blood's character, Lance Hunter. Per the trade:
Insiders say the series is not a spinoff, per se, but rather an entirely new project solely focused on the two characters to continue their story. Though plot details are scarce at this point, "Marvel's Most Wanted" will follow the pair and their adventures together.
That's a different tune than ABC president Paul Lee was singing at upfronts earlier this year, when he said of Palicki and Blood's alter egos, "We absolutely love those characters on 'S.H.I.E.

The latest Marvel television effort is quite a different take on things, and if you’re looking for something that will add to your Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. watching, you might be in for a surprise.
Focused on Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), and with much transitional exposition from Captain America taking place in the pilot, Agent Carter is a kind of crossover involving the stylistic backdrop of a “cartoonified” film noir, and the narrative structure of an Indiana Jones movie (actually, it’s closer to Allan Quatermain, but the difference is negligible). This mashing of setting and set-up is then layered with the unavoidable details surrounding the idea that a woman is in the spotlight, mostly by virtue of her colleagues’ unending amusement at the thought of Peggy’s ability to do anything beyond fetching coffee.
This leaves Agent Carter in the non-unique situation of keeping up the appearance of her alter ego,...

Is it just me or has this competition gotten intense fairly early into the season? Usually at this point in a regular Top Chef season, I can’t remember anyone’s names (though Eric’s is still a troublesome one) let alone feel like I intimately know anyone’s skills or talents.
But last week, Seth spiraled out of control into Red Hot oblivion and this week (episode 3, mind you) the Quickfire demanded our hopefuls tackle one of the pastry’s world’s most difficult, time-consuming tasks—making a wedding cake—in 1.5 hours. That’s sheer genius madness.

Kiefer-Sutherland-24Image Credit: Kelsey McNeal/FoxIt's time to say goodbye to another beloved Jack in prime time! In preparation for tonight's two-hour season finale of 24, EW took a quick jog down memory lane with star Kiefer Sutherland, who plays Jack Bauer, and asked him to reflect on the show's 2001 debut, how he felt about the negative publicity the show sometimes received, and its lasting legacy. Entertainment Weekly: Back in 2001, did you have reservations about debuting the show after Sept. 11? Kiefer Sutherland: Huge, massive concerns. It was something that was really transcendent to the population, and it wasn't about the show. I think we all went through a period for three weeks, that if you weren't a doctor, a policeman, a fireman, or a nurse, and you weren't able to actually physically help, you just felt moronic for what you were...

Jack Bauer has the same initials as James Bond and Jason Bourne. Soon, he might be joining them on the big screen: The long-rumored 24 movie is moving closer to being a reality, reports EW's Lynette Rice, with State of Play screenwriter Billy Ray in talks to write the script. Kiefer Sutherland has indicated that the film would keep the show's all-in-one-day conceit but would ditch the real-time, allowing Jack to, say, fly from Serbia to London without the viewer suffering six episodes of bad airplane food. Personally, I've got mixed feelings about the potential movie. Few TV shows feel so...

Set your DVRs, nerds! Tonight at 9 p.m., PBS airs a repeat of last year's Dance in America: San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker, hosted by Dancing With the Stars' season 6 winner winner Kristi Yamaguchi. She does not dance, but we wanted to stage a dramatization of that scenario, at left. I know that if I wasn't totally committed to keeping up with the PBS schedule (can't wait for Local Programming at 3 a.m.!), I would have wanted a reminder. My favorite Nutcracker scene is without a doubt the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, because I like to imagine...

With such an amazing group of dancers fighting for a spot in the first fall finale of So You Think You Can Dance, it made sense that Wednesday's results were surprising. Despite an injured shoulder that prevented her from competing Tuesday, Ashleigh avoided elimination -- and didn't even end up in the bottom four. And while her husband Ryan did land in the bottom (again), America pushed him through as well. "There was a huge groundswell of emotion that has swept Ryan and Ashleigh into the finals," Nigel Lythgoe told People backstage after the show, referring to Ryan's emotional plea...

Hello citizens! It's great to be back in L.A.! Tuesday's So You Think You Can Dance performances were stellar. Each dancer left their heart on the stage last night. Before I move along and share my thoughts about the show, I have to say that my heart goes out to Ashleigh, who injured her shoulder and couldn't perform. I wish her a speedy recovery. Jakob and Mollee were the standout couple of the night! Both pieces were absolutely magical! Jakob has the Midas touch! His progress and growth has been consistently golden. I definitely agreed with Nigel when he...

Something has changed on So You Think You Can Dance. And I'm not just talking about the sad departure of Mia Michaels, or that strange sulphuric smell ever since an over-hyped Katie Holmes stunk up the place with her pre-taped Judy Garland song and dance "tribute." (Yeah, we're all still scratching our heads over that one.)
No, the change I'm referring to is a good one: The show isn't so darn homophobic these days.
This season's Top 10 dancers: Pictured back row L-r: Russell Ferguson, Mollee Gray, Nathan Trasoras, Ryan Di Lello, Jakob Karr, Ashleigh Di Lello and Legacy Perez. Bottom row L-r: Kathryn McCormick, Noelle Marsh and Ellenore Scott.
In previous seasons, Sytycd had a readily apparent mean streak when it came to the gays. Male dancers who were on the... uh... lesser side of butch were routinely criticized for not having enough "chemistry" with their female partners.

Recognition, a spot on tour and a paycheck are all a part of what it means to be in the So You Think You Can Dance top 10. Last week, Karen Hauer, an American Rhythm dancer from Fort Lee, N.J., and Victor Smalley, a contemporary wonder from Miami, barely missed the mark as the judges had their final say in who stays and who goes. This week, season 6's top 10 will get new partners, and the fans will handle the cuts from here on out until a new winner is crowned America's Favorite Dancer. --Jed Dreben Here's a rundown the...

Following a colorful night of performances, So You Think You Can Dance finally had a live results show (now that baseball season is over!) with America picking the bottom three couples rather than the judges -- lucky for some; bad for others. While Pauline Mata, 18, the jazz dancer out of West Covina, Calif., and the last of the tappers, Peter Sabasino, 21, from Philadelphia, were unanimously given their walking papers, a frustrated Nigel Lythgoe told the rest of season 6's dancers that they better start living up to expectations. "I'm angry!" Nigel told People backstage after the show. "When you spend the amount of time I do talking to the press and trying to be honest, and say, 'These are the best, the most diverse top 20 we've ever had,' and then I felt totally let down by the solos tonight." He then added: "I was totally disappointed. If I compare...

Paging Mc Skat Kat! On last night's dazzling episode of So You Think You Can Dance, Nigel Lythgoe officially offered former American Idol judge Paula Abdul a guest spot on the series' esteemed panel. And though Fox has yet to confirm whether or not the singer has accepted Nigel's offer, I can't help but feel incredibly conflicted about the possibility of Paula's return to competitive reality TV. On the one hand, the rabid Idol fan in me would welcome Paula with open arms. After all, we haven't even seen a Paula-less Idol yet, and I'm already mourning her absence more...

They try to avoid injuries every season, but these days the Dancing with the Stars cast is hoping to protect themselves from the flu bug that's hit the ballroom. "I'm living off of [vitamin drink mix] Emergen-c right now," Lacey Schwimmer said after Monday night's performance. "And though I love them, I'm also keeping my distance from Derek [Hough] and Mark [Ballas]." Hough, who got sick and had to drop out of Monday's performance with model Joanna Krupa, said he's not 100 percent recovered but is "feeling and doing a lot better. I was in pretty bad shape last week." "Wednesday I got home around 1 a.m. after rehearsing and choreographing [the Michael Jackson tribute]. By 3 a.m., I was sicker than a dog," Hough told People, adding that he had a 105-degree fever. "My whole bed was drenched because I sweated so much. I had to sleep in the bathtub. I've been sick a thousand times but something was...

Holy déjà vu! Do you remember last week, when American Idol announced they were adding a new permanent judge on their panel? (Of course you do.) Well, everyone's favorite dance competition, So You Think You Can Dance, has decided to do the same thing. Their pick: Hairspray director, and longtime guest judge, Adam Shankman. Of course, this recent decision brings up a question: Will the series continue their tradition of inviting a guest judge each week, thereby bringing the panel total to four? Judge Nigel Lythgoe told TVGuide.com, "We'll have an empty chair and that empty chair can be filled, I hope one day, by Paula Abdul and by lots of other people...The trouble is, the minute you pull four judges like American Idol, you're just opening up the program and not dealing with what you should be dealing with, which is the talent." So, I'm guessing the answer is.

So You Think You Can Dance held its final performance episode Wednesday at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, where the four remaining dancers performed in front of thousands of screaming fans. Kayla Radomski, Brandon Bryant, Jeanine Mason and Evan Kasprzak put nerves aside to dance in pairs, solos and groups. "This is the first time we've come to the Kodak Theatre. It's a big stage and they really had to come up and fill that stage," Nigel said after the show. "In my opinion, Brandon and Jeanine did so, and then Kayla did later on. I don't think little Evan did. I love him to death but he is a character dancer that is only really for me established one character." Clad in board shorts, Brandon's solo "wiped out the opposition," according to Nigel, but then Jeanine countered with a flamenco-style tango that took everyone by surprise. Together at the end of the night,...

So I'm not even going to try to spoil anything* for you concerning tonight's performance finale of So You Think You Can Dance. No I am not. (Woooo-hoooo!) Instead, I will substitute a pair of poll questions in place of naming my two favorite contestants left in the season 5 finals (whose names are not Ade). Go ahead and vote below, then check back in the early ay-em for Adam B. Vary's dapper, dashing, and dance-tastic TV Watch. I guarantee you'll want to put him on the hot tamale train. Yes I do. * Except for the fact that only one contestant tonight received Cat Deeley's verrrry special brand of intro: "Let's hear it for...it's Kayla!" Photo credit: Kelsey McNeal/Fox...

Even in a So You Think You Can Dance episode as jam-packed with great performances as Thursday's, it was hard to forget that two dancers would leave at the end of the night. Sadly, but not surprising, it was stylish ballerina Melissa Sandvig and (this one was a little tougher to swallow) contemporary dancer Ade Obayomi. "It always hurts every week ... You die a little bit every week -- two times," judge Lil C said backstage, before offering some words of wisdom: "Losers have more to learn from losing than winners have to learn from winning. So pay attention to where you are [and] what's been given to you." Clearly everyone was and is a winner in this season's amazing top six, but now moving into next week's finale, eyes are on Brandon, who moved a little further ahead of the pack after a memorable solo [1] Wednesday. "If they're going to...

[brightcoveplayer 31214953001]As So You Think You Can Dance moves into the home stretch with the top six dancers taking the stage Wednesday, judge Lil C said before the show, "it's all about preference now," implying that fans have their favorites picked out. "They've got to bring personality out now," Nigel said, because the dancing has been of an "equal standard [and someone needs] to come through and standout!" Well, someone did. Realizing that it's never too late to shine even brighter, Brandon stole the show with a jaw-dropping solo. Midway through the episode, dawning nothing but muscles and short shorts, he utilized the passion and power of Carmina Burana to give a memorable one-man piece that not only garnered a standing ovation from all three judges but had Nigel calling it "one of the best solos we’ve ever seen on the show!” But he didn't stop there, also nailing a challenging and emotional...

Hard work and the luck of the choreographer draw made all the difference on So You Think You Can Dance's results show Thursday with Ade and Melissa securing spots in the top six, while judges' favorite Janette Manrara, the sexy salsa dancer out of Miami, and fan favorite Jason Glover, the lyrical/contemporary dancer from Fresno, Calif., were sent home. Losing Janette "ruined my 100th celebration," Nigel Lythgoe told People after the show's 100th episode, agreeing that Melissa and Ade's heart-stopping rendition [1] of Tyce Diorio's moving tribute to the ongoing battle of women and breast cancer "certainly skewed the results." Mia Michaels, who called Janette her favorite of the season, also agreed that losing her "was awful." But even Melissa admitted that their amazing routine "saved us, I think," while Ade, who has had his ups and downs with the voting -- and just barely survived the bottom...

[brightcoveplayer 30441114001] On a night that Nigel Lythgoe called "the flattest [he'd] ever experienced on So You Think You Can Dance," something extraordinary happened suddenly at the end of Wednesday's episode. Set to "This Woman's Work" by Maxwell, Melissa and Ade brought to life a piece by Emmy-nominated choreographer Tyce Diorio that was inspired by women around the world facing the exhausting battle against breast cancer. Danced with beauty, passion, feeling and strength, the performance had Nigel and the rest of the judges searching for words and choked up with tears. The emotional panel unanimously proclaimed it a history-making piece that will be remembered for years to come. The night started out on an upbeat note with Travis Wall's group number which had the top 8 dancing to Kevin Rudolf and Lil Wayne's "Let It Rock" in laser tag uniforms. However, once the men picked new female partners, the show took a bit of a wrong turn.

Chicago – The world has changed significantly since Kiefer Sutherland and the rest of the team behind Fox’s “24” were forced to save it repeatedly over the first six seasons of one of the most popular shows of the last decade. Will “24” still be relevant with controversy over real-life torture dominating the headlines and a new regime getting ready to take office?
The new season of “24” picks up at 8am in the life of Jack Bauer and it will be after noon by the time the first four hours have unfolded over two nights on Fox, starting January 11th, 2009. In the opening moments of the first episode, the chief engineer of the government’s infrastructure and security system is kidnapped and a group of domestic terrorists has taken control of something very powerful - our nation’s air traffic control.

Chicago – After a delay that lasted well in excess of a year, “24” returns to Fox this Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. with a two-hour “special event” (they used to just be called “TV movies”) called “24: Redemption”.
The prequel to season seven of “24” intends to bridge the gap between day six and seven for Jack Bauer and set the plot in motion for what promises to be an interesting reboot of a show that hasn’t been on the air in almost two years.
The 2008 writer’s strike delayed the seventh season of “24” by an entire year. The show, which has never aired under anything but the George Bush presidency, now faces a brave new world when Jack Bauer starts another ticking clock in early 2009.
The writers of this prequel “event” are keenly aware that not only has their show been off the air for a lifetime in the...
