- When the beginning of the sound film made new demands on the film which needed now original music Hansom Milde-Meissner started his busy career as a filmcomposer in 1929.
- The filmcomposer Hansom Milde-Meissner was born as Johannes Friedrich Mile in Habelschwerdt.
- He first learnt the profession of a pharmacist before he joined a musical education at the conservatory of music. Afterwards he began he artistic career in 1919 as an arranger. Beside it he wrote his first compositions, among them also several operettas.
- To his last cinematical works belong "Reifende Jugend" (1955) with Maximilian Schell and "Hoppla, jetzt kommt Eddie" (1958) with iconic American-born singer and actor Eddie Constantine.
- Hansom Milde-Meissner only composed for few feature movies after the war, beside it he also set documentaries to music.
