- Beni Montresor was born on March 31, 1926 in Bussolengo, Veneto, Italy. He was a production designer and costume designer, known for Pilgrimage (1972), The Golden Mass (1975) and The Day the Sky Exploded (1958). He died on October 11, 2001 in Verona, Veneto, Italy.
- Has been nominated four times for Broadway's Tony Award: in 1964 as Best Costume Designer for "Marco Millions;" in 1965 as Best Scenic Designer for "Do I Hear a Waltz?;" and in 1975 as both Best Costume Designer and Best Scenic Designer for "The Marriage of Figaro."
