Getting all prettied up for a swanky evening on the town, Dakota Fanning was spoted out at The Millennium-Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night (February 27).
Clad in a cute little black dress, the "New Moon" actress was among those attending the Cinema Audio Society's 46th Annual Awards Dinner.
As she made her entrance, Miss Fanning was quickly greeted by Cinema Audio Society president Edward L. Moskowitz, with the twosome joining up for a few photos before taking their seats inside.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Dakota is fresh off of celebrating her 16th birthday - as she was treated to a small dinner party at Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills.

Rerecording mixer/sound designer Randy Thom will receive the Cinema Audio Society's Career Achievement Award at the 46th Cas Awards on Feb. 27 at the the Millennium-Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
He has shared in 14 Academy Award nominations, winning for best sound editing for "The Incredibles" and best sound for "The Right Stuff."
He's been nominated four times by Cas and took top honors in 1995 for "Forrest Gump."
"The Cinema Audio Society's Career Achievement Award honors the best of the best, and Randy Thom's career spanning more than 30 years and over 75 films and numerous awards certainly warrants being honored," said Cas president Edward L. Moskowitz.
Thom began his career in film 30 years ago working for "Apocalypse Now." He is currently the director of sound at Skywalker Sound.

The free event, which is open to the public, will include Resul Pookutty, Ian Tapp and Richard Pryke of "Slumdog Millionaire"; Michael Minkler and Bob Beemer of "John Adams"; Bob Bronow of "Deadliest Catch"; and Kerry Brown and Kevin Dippold of "Smashing Pumpkins: If All Goes Wrong."
"This forum is part of the mission of the Cinema Audio Society to educate and inform the general public and the motion picture and television industry through the exchange of ideas, methods and information, " Cas president Edward L. Moskowitz said.

The awards will be presented at the 45th annual Cas Awards dinner Feb. 14 at the Millennium-Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
Products nominated in the production category are Aaton Cantar X2 Digital Recorder, Lectrosonics Venue Series Wideband Rf Receiver, Sennheiser Mkh-8000 Series Microphones, Sonosax Sx-ST8D Digital Output Mixer and Sound Devices 788T Digital Recorder.
In the postproduction category, the products nominated are Audio Ease Speakerphone, Cedar Dns 3000 Automated Noise Suppression, Dolby Media Meter, Euphonix Artist Series Mc Control and Lexicon Pcm 96 Signal Processor.
"These products represent the best innovations in tools for sound-mixing professionals," Cas president Edward L. Moskowitz said.
