There’s news. And there’s huge news. And there’s planet-sized news. And then there’s news that’s big enough to eat a planet as a delicious breakfast snack. And the latest bit of Marvel casting news is firmly in the final category – a much-anticipated role that finally puts a face to a gigantic name. Yes, the MCU is finally preparing to introduce legendary cosmic world-chomper Galactus in next year’s The Fantastic Four, and the powers that be have found their man: British actor Ralph Ineson.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ineson will be donning the funky purple headgear and going head-to-head with the new Fantastic Four line-up – that’s Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn’s Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm. Marvel Studios’ upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot stands out as one of the most anticipated projects in development. Not only will it revitalize the original movie series, but it will also bring Marvel’s first family into the MCU fold.
Official details about the film are scarce, with only the core cast confirmed. However, reactions to this cast have been widely varied. To navigate through the confirmed and rumored information and provide clarity, we’ve compiled this guide.
The setting of ‘The Fantastic Four’ will be an alternate reality
Rumors and artwork suggest that ‘Fantastic Four’ will unfold in an alternate retro-futuristic reality reminiscent of the 1960s. The team will already possess their powers and function as an established unit from the movie’s outset. It’s speculated that their initial adversary will be Mole Man.
Expectations are high for the inclusion of Franklin Richards and Valeria Richards in the film.

The upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot is easily one of the most exciting projects currently in development at Marvel Studios. The movie will not only reboot the original series of movies but also introduce Marvel’s first family to the MCU.
Not much is known about the movie through official means, except for the core cast, and this core cast has been met with vastly polarizing reactions. This is why we decided to put together this guide, to address both confirmed and rumored stuff and make sense of things.
‘The Fantastic Four’ will take place in an alternate reality
So far both the rumors and the artwork point in the direction of ‘Fantastic Four’ being set in alternate retro-futuristic reality in the 60′. Fantastic Four will already have their powers and be an established team at the start of the movie. Allegedly the first villain they will fight will be Mole Man.

We finally have a face (and voice) for one of the biggest bad guys in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, as THR reports that Ralph Ineson will play Galactus the Devourer of Worlds in The Fantastic Four.
There had been rumblings that Javier Bardem was being eyed for the role of Galactus, but I’ve got to say that I’m more excited about Ralph Ineson tackling the role, particularly with his wonderful voice. The actor is always a highlight in everything I’ve seen him in, with fantastic roles in The Witch, The Green Knight, The Northman, and the recent First Omen movie. Eagle-eyed fans will know that Ineson has appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before, playing a Ravager pilot in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Kang who? The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been searching for its next Thanos-level big bad for quite some time now and, while Plan A had to be thrown out the window following actor Jonathan Majors' allegations, Plan B appears to be rounding into form quite nicely. With Kevin Feige appearing to put all his eggs in the "Fantastic Four" basket, officially assembling a core cast made up of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn as Marvel's First Family, it was only a matter of time before word leaked out regarding which name-brand actor would step up to take on the physically imposing role of Galactus himself, the Devourer of Worlds.
That time has finally come, as first reported by The Hollywood Reporter. We now know that Ralph Ineson has answered the call to suit up as the Fantastic Four's biggest and baddest foe in the MCU reboot of the classic property.

"The Bear" season 3 officially has a release date, and a snazzy first look teaser to go with it. The hit FX and Hulu series that's dominated award season since it premiered in 2022 is back for a third peek into the kitchen of a chaotic Chicago restaurant.
New episodes of the series are set to premiere on Hulu on Thursday, June 27, 2024, close to a year exactly after the show's sophomore season dropped. Despite plenty of fans insisting that the series would be better as a weekly release, the new season is poised to continue its tradition of a single-batch drop, and all 10 episodes will be available that Thursday.
The last season of "The Bear" ended with depressed, highly decorated chef Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), his intrepid sous-chef turned partner Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), hotheaded cousin Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and the rest of the team behind sandwich joint The Beef poised to successfully open their high-end restaurant.

This is not the same old Original Beef of Chicagoland!
In a sleek tease of the upcoming season, which also announced the premiere date, Jeremy Allen White's Carmy is in the kitchen of the gorgeously remodeled restaurant.
From a "dive" restaurant with video games and a mouth-watering menu comes something out of a fairytale.
To say things look different is an understatement.
Although we know that Carmy is a highly-trained and respected chef, sometimes that's difficult to remember as we've mostly known him in his family restaurant, which doesn't require such a pedigree.
Well, it didn't, but during The Bear Season 2, while the old was being gutted to bring in the new, Carmy was also ensuring his crack team received formal training.
We have no doubt they'll be a formidable team when the refurbished restaurant launches.

With the appetite of a hungry grizzly, “The Bear” could gobble up a few Emmy records for its sophomore season. Fresh off a smashing first season that set a new benchmark for comedy series wins with 10 trophies, FX’s awards-gobbling show shows no signs of letting up. Its second season, which aired in June 2023, is eyeing three more records to own: most acting nominations for a series in a single year, most nods for a comedy, and most nominated episode in history with its sixth installment, “Fishes.”
“Fishes” dishes out a heated Christmas dinner flashback of the Berzatto family, positioning itself as the series’ pièce de résistance thus far — imagine the “Succession/Connor’s Wedding” version of family dinners, only with more food spills. Directed by Christopher Storer, who also co-wrote the episode with Joanna Calo, “Fishes” seems the obvious pick for Emmy nods in both directing and writing categories.

The Bear is one of those rare stories that comes along once in a blue moon. It doesn't get by on flashy CG, explosions, or modded-out race cars flying down the streets.
Witty dialogue, high stress, and intense drama fuel this machine, and perhaps that's why so many big-name actors are attracted to its frenzied undercurrents.
Kudos to the creative team assembled under the banner of The Bear. They've created a fantastic ride, thrumming with intensity and entertainment without needing to spend a fortune.
They're clearly doing something right. Series creator Christopher Storer (bolstered by incredible writers like Joanna Calo) nails the pace and character beats while accomplishing a rare feat within the industry, perfecting the art of the cameo appearance.
Cameos are often tricky for several reasons. They tend to disrupt the immersive nature of the story. As a prime example, everyone is still trying to forget Ed Sheeran...

Yesterday evening, the news broke that Black Bird and Cruella star Paul Walter Hauser has joined the cast of Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four.
It's another exciting and impressive addition to the reboot, though there was no word in the trades about who he's playing. The voice of H.E.R.B.I.E. is one possibility, though Mole Man is another suggestion which is being batted about online.
Hauser would be a great choice for a sinister new take on the baddie. Plus, with a story which takes place in the 1960s, using Mole Man as a supporting villain is a, well, fantastic way to pay homage to the team's first comic book appearance.
While he stops short of confirming Hauser has been cast in the role, Jeff Sneider (via The InSneider) is reporting that the current script for The Fantastic Four opens with Marvel's First Family defeating Mole Man.
