The show features a group of real-world pals, all actors, sitting around a table playing Dungeons & Dragons, the dice-heavy game about adventurers and orcs, kobolds and balrogs. Now that hardy band of pals is setting records on Kickstarter, raising $7.7 million in less than two weeks to create an animated series, The Legend of Vox Machina,...

Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, an animated microseries focusing on the women of the Star Wars universe, was a surprise announcement back at April’s Celebration. Fans of the show will be pleased to know then that season 2 will be just as quick in getting onto our screens. While talking with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Jennifer Muro revealed that Forces of Destiny will return in October. She dropped the news when asked which characters would be appearing in the next run.
“I wish I could tell you! You’ll find out in October. It’s been announced that we’ll see Hera [from Star Wars: Rebels], which will be great. I think people will enjoy seeing the characters in the second season.”
Muro also chatted about the positive fan reaction to the series,...

In April, it was announced that there would be a web-series titled, Star Wars: Forces of Destiny. The series will focus on the female heroes of the Star Wars universe. CinemaBlend recently spoke with writer Jennifer Muro about the new series, and she gave us a better idea of what to expect:
“I think it'll fill in some moments. It's built in small little unseen moments, which will be fun. Fans will get bits and pieces. Younger audiences will get a sense of fun and excitement and adventure, and...
