Every performer has a horror story about auditions – a bullying director, falling over, not having done their homework. But what's the secret of nailing that part?
Last September, Alice Jane Murray queued in the rain outside the London Palladium for five hours, waiting to take her chance at the open auditions for A Chorus Line, the legendary 1970s show about a group of Broadway dancers looking for their big break. Eventually, she was ushered on stage with a group of 50 other hopefuls, and asked to do a double pirouette on the left, and then another on the right. Her future rested on their perfect execution. "I just went with the thought that this is who I am and what I can do," she told me afterwards. "And if they don't like it, I can't do anything about it. It may just be that they're not looking for someone with your hair colour or your height.

After a weeks long parade of ex-Zapateras being sent to Redemption Island, we finally got to see an Ometepe sent home. But was sending Andrea home right right decision? Is Phillip really a threat to win like he thinks he is? What happens if Boston Rob gets ousted?
The show is finally getting interesting again. Let's hear from our readers?
Was Andrea the right choice this week?
Kyle Kalember: If the remaining Ometepes didn't want to go up against her at the end then it was the right choice. She absolutely could win a few immunities and that makes her dangerous. At this point I don't think there is a "wrong" choice. Just about all of them could - with the right speech - win a million dollars. Phillip seems to think he can and he is the only one I'm skeptical on.
Dan Forcella: It seems like a good enough choice for Rob,...

Survivor finally left us excited for next week as all of the Zapateras are gone and the real game can begin. However, a number of critical decisions were made this week that could have changed the end of the game had they gone the other way. Our Round Table writers debate.
We'd love to hear our readers take on the situations as well.
Would Andrea have made more sense to send home than Steve?
Kyle Kalember: Quite possibly. Now the six will go at each other but Steve might have been more valuable as a swing vote you can bring along until you cut him lose in the final four or something of that nature. However, it does seem like everyone was on board with Andrea going next so it could turn out to be an incredibly easy vote.
Dan Forcella: Does it really matter at this point? They're both...

Phillip may have dominated the episode and our review this week, but we're not going to let him dominate our Round Table. There's plenty more to talk about, such as the curious elimination of Julie over Steve. Or what about Jeff's emergence as a comedic presence on the show?
As always, we love to hear from our readers.
Would Julie have been your choice to vote out over Steve and Ralph?
Kyle Kalember: No, I would have voted Steve out. If you are Rob you need to keep Phil around until the end and the best way to do that is to make him seem less crazy. Steve and Phil still must have some tension and it can't be all good no matter how good the "therapy session" was.
Jane Murray: I was surprised they voted Julie off. Has she been a tougher competitor than Steve or Ralph? Does...

Survivor started to slow down this week. So what did CBS do? They sped it up by squeezing two boring episodes in to one. Perhaps the episodes were not that exciting with back-to-back Zapateras going home, but at least we only wasted one hour watching it.
Despite the slow nature of the episode, there were still a few things to discuss. As always, we love to hear from our readers.
Matt said he's the most naive survivor ever. Do you agree?
Kyle Kalember: No one will ever be more clueless than Erik (Survivor: Micronesia) giving away the idol to someone who didn't need it only to get immediately voted out. Matt is pretty naive, but I can't picture him ever being that naive.
Dan Forcella: Not really. I don't think it was even that much of a blind side. He knew that he was up for elimination that night, otherwise...

The return of Matt to the game and the merging of the tribes did nothing to improve the survivors collective intelligence. Boston Rob continues to rule the game and dominate our discussions. His surprise move this week to oust Matt (again) heads our debate.
As always, we love to hear from our readers as well.
Did it makes sense for the Ometepes not named Rob to get rid of Matt?
Kyle Kalember: I think it did. They still have the numbers advantage - six to five - and now they can plan to eliminate the Zapateras one by one without Matt flip-flopping back and forth. Andrea was right in her assessment of Matt's game - he just wasn't acting right and was too unpredictable. He basically wrote his own death sentence with the way he played since the merge.
Dan Forcella: Probably not. But since it was what Rob wanted to do,...

Stephanie makes a power move this episode, but does it work out? How are the numbers starting to affect the game? Our Round Table writers convened to discuss this and more after an action packed episode.
As always, we love to hear from our readers as well.
Who should Zapatera have kept, Krista or Stephanie?
Kyle Kalember: I don't know that it makes that much of a difference. From what footage we've been shown it seems like Stephanie is more of a plotter and could be slightly more dangerous. Perhaps since she is a slightly bigger threat they wanted her to face off against Matt with the best chance of going home.
Dan Forcella: These two are so similar that it really didn't matter that much, but Krista did most of her complaining in confessionals and Stephanie was her fantastically annoying self in front of the entire tribe, so I...

Last week, Redemption Island was boring and Tribal Council was incredible. This week? The total opposite. And we can't stop talking about it. What a momentous occasion for Russell to be sent home for the first time in three seasons. Our Round Table writers convened to discuss whether we were sad to see him go or not and other pressing issues.
As always, we encourage answers from our readers.
Were you rooting for Russell to stay or happy to see him go?
Kyle Kalember: I was truly torn because I didn't want to see him go, but I'm also rooting for Matt to run the gauntlet. I want to see someone go the distance and get back into the game. The only other wrinkle that might be fun is someone gets voted off, wins the last duel and immediately gets put back in the game. If that doesn't happen I'm...

This season's twist means we still do not know if Zapatera's decision to lie to Russell, throw the challenge and send him to Redemption Island will come back to haunt them or not. What we do know is that lying is quickly taking over this season of Survivor. But, is it a good thing? Our Round Table writers discuss.
As always, we encourage answers from our readers.
Would you throw a challenge to get rid of Russell?
Kyle Kalember: I'm against throwing anything. The tribes need to go into the merge with numbers and its a mistake to start throwing challenges after only two wins. We've seen these things turn at the drop of a stupid decision and I think this one is going to come back and bite them in the butt. For entertainment value though few things would be more entertaining then seeing Russell run the gauntlet and...

It only took two episodes for our returning stars to really get the wheels moving for this game. Our Round Table writers are excited to talk about Rob's big move and Russell's extensive arrogance.
As always, we encourage answers from our readers.
Should Phillip or Kristina have been voted out instead of Matt?
Kyle Kalember: Since it was impossible for Kristina to get voted out with her idol I'll have to say Phillip. Now Kristina would have been my preference due to her idiotic sorta-play of the idol to get rid of Rob, but Phillip is crazy. At least he isn't "I want to turn off the TV because you make me ill" crazy. Rob's one-liner was enough to make the Phillip experience worth it to me. If he gives Rob more ammunition for great comedy then you can sign me up.
Dan Forcella: Did Boston Rob making the right move?...

Boston Rob and Russell are back for another go around on Survivor. Our Round Table writers couldn't wait to discuss the implications of two of Survivor's craftiest players returning for another shot at the $1M prize.
But, there's more than just Boston Rob and Russell (right?). What about the new contestants, who's your favorite? And how the heck did Kristina find the idol so quickly?
As always, we encourage answers from our readers.
Boston Rob and Russell are back: Approve or Disapprove?
Kyle Kalember: I approve because more Rob = more enjoyment. Every second he gets time on that show makes the show better than if he weren't on the show. Russell I could go either way. I'm hoping he's learned a little about why he didn't win in the past and has made some modifications. If he has I predict a very interesting season.

Groucho Marx did his best to stop legendary doctor Henry Heimlich's impending marriage -- by writing a letter to the parents of the bride branding him an "obscure quack." The comedian and movie star, then divorced, wrote to ballroom great Arthur Murray in 1951 after it was announced his daughter, Jane Murray, was to marry the man who later invented the Heimlich maneuver. Jane's new book, "Out of Step," reveals Groucho's letter to her parents: "Your announcement that your daughter Jane is marrying an obscure...

London, Feb 6 - Cat owners are more likely to have a degree than dog owners, a University of Bristol study has found.
“The reason for this association is unclear,” said Dr Jane Murray of the university’s Department of Clinical Veterinary Science. “It is unlikely to be related to household income as this variable was not shown to be significant, but it could be related to household members with longer working hours having less time available to care for a dog.”
Published in the Veterinary Record, the research showed that cats were more likely.
