- Was very prominent French-Canadian ballet choreographer.
- Choreographer since the 1950 for the "Grands Ballets canadiens de Montréal" for which he did "Carmina Burana" and "Casse-Noisette" still danced today.
- He studied dance in Montreal, New York, London, and Paris. In 1944, the American Ballet Theater was performing in Montreal when one of its dancers sustained an injury. Nault replaced him, and eventually joined the ABT. Later, he became its ballet master and director of the company's school.
- He was awarded the O.C. (Officer of the Order of Canada) on July 11, 1977 for his services to dance.
