Ms. Nelson is a founding member of the Location Managers Guild International (formally the Location Managers Guild of America) and has served multiple terms on the LMGI Board of Directors. A member of Teamsters Local 399, she is a former California On Location (COLA) award winner for Assistant Location Manager of the Year- Television and has been nominated numerous times for a COLA Location Team of the Year- Television for her work on "House MD", for Location Team of the Year- Features for "Into The Wild" and Location Team of the Year- Television for "The Mindy Project".
