film following as the sheepish maid berated by
Faye Dunaway's "
Joan Crawford" for
not having moved a large potted plant while cleaning and leaving a
circular ring on the floor. The classic line in
Mommie Dearest (1981) went: "I'm not
mad at you, Helga, I'm mad at the dirt!".
