Dr. DeMarco (John Carradine) has some time to kill after getting fired, and he uses that free time to create a monster capable of killing in The Astro-Zombies. Fans of the Ted V. Mikels movie are in luck, as Kino Lorber recently announced an upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of the 1968 film.
Kino Lorber announced The Astro-Zombies Blu-ray and DVD news on Facebook, revealing that the new release will feature a "brand new 2016 HD master." While an exact release date has yet to be revealed, the Blu-ray and DVD are expected to come out soon.

Pardon the blasphemy, but Jesus H. Christ, who the hell decided it would be a good idea to release Ted V. Mikels Worst film on DVD? The bigger question would be why the hell did I decide to even review this film? If it ranks as one of the worst Ted V. Mikels films And one of the worst films ever to grace MST3K (some would say it made for the worst episode of that show too), why would anyone in their right mind give Girl in Gold Boots the time of day?
I asked myself that question throughout each and every painful minute of this film…
I can understand why 88 Films saw fit to release Blood Orgy of the She Devils and The Corpse Grinders...
