Machine Gun Kelly‘s guitarist, Sophie Lloyd, has attracted a social media firestorm after fans claimed that she had played a role in his alleged split from fiancee Megan Fox.
Lloyd, a 27-year-old British metal musician, has grown close with Mgk during his Mainstream Sellout tour last year.
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off meritless accusations made by social media,” said her management team in a statement. “Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”
Before joining Mgk, she’s was already an accomplished musician for many years, crafting her work since she was 10. The guitar has been her escape from reality since she was a child.

Check out this cast – Jennifer Aniston, Mark Duplass and Ben Kingsley are all on board for the upcoming sci-fi comedy titled Convention! Justin Reardon will direct the movie from a script written by Christopher Painter, which will, as we said, center around a box convention. Or, in other words – Mark Duplass will stars as the above mentioned inventor...

Last May, we reported on quirky sci-fi project Convention, which had locked in Ben Kingsley and Safety Not Guaranteed’s Mark Duplass to co-star. Even back then, director Justin Reardon was hoping to add Jennifer Aniston to the cast and, after months of courting and haggling, he’s secured her.Reardon, working from a script by Christopher Painter, is bringing to the life the story of a man (Duplass) who invents a five-sided box. While it defies the laws of physics and seems set to revolutionize the storage market, there’s just one little issue: every time he creates the extra fold for one of his boxes, he tears a hole in the fabric of the universe.Still, that doesn’t stop him bringing it, along with his sister (Aniston) to a storage convention, where it attracts the attention of a rival manufacturer (Kingsley).K5 International is touting rights to...

Jennifer Aniston, Sir Ben Kingsley and Mark Duplass will star in a new comedy titled Convention.
A Many Splintered Thing helmer Justin Reardon will direct the project, which is due to enter production this summer.
Convention, described as a "mind-bending comedy", sees Aniston and Dupliss change the box storage world with the invention of a five-sided box, creating inter-dimensional molecular mayhem and threatening the very existence of the universe in the process.
"Convention is a wildly original and funny screenplay. Justin Reardon's approach to the material is bold, inventive and bursting with imagination," said producer Paul Schiff.
"Finally, we could not be more thrilled to have such a gifted group of actors on board to bring this film to life."
Convention, based on a screenplay by Christopher Painter, is yet to be assigned a release date.

Mark Duplass has had busy couple of years, directing and writing three films with his brother, and starring in a number of projects including the raunchy FX comedy, “The League,” and in the upcoming sci-fi tinged indie dramedy “Safety Not Guaranteed” with Aubrey Plaza. He’s following up that role with one in another indie film with a sci-fi element, “Convention,” and he’s going to be acting opposite some pretty big names.
Duplass will be playing an inventor who unveils his latest creation at a national box convention: the five-sided box. The mysterious new design initially seems perfect, until Duplass’ inventor learns that each time its special fold is created, he rips a hole in the space-time continuum. It’s up to him and his sister to put things back together and save the role. Jennifer Aniston is circling the sister role and Ben Kingsley is officially signed up...

While he’s attached to one high profile project featuring science fiction elements already (that would be Iron Man 3), it seems that Ben Kingsley is ready for more than one film boasting strange technology, even if Convention looks to be a little more low-key.Cyrus co-writer / director Mark Duplass is on board to star in the film, which would see him as an inventor who brings his latest creation, a five-sided box, to a national event for box companies. While it’s initially a hit, and snapped up by a legend in the business (Kingsley) for mass production, there’s a catch. You see, every time Duplass creates the extra fold for the box, he tears a hole in the space-time continuum. Which means that a factory-level output would rip the world apart…Don’t go expecting Michael Bay-level CG and crumbling cities, though, or at least not...

I can’t figure out what’s odder: that this trio of actors are even coming together in the first place, or that they’ll be doing so for a sci-fi comedy. No matter what, though? You never know what to expect from Hollywood. Anyway, it’s reported that Convention — a sci-fi comedy, you might have heard — has caught the attention of Jennifer Aniston, who’s currently negotiating to take a leading role, while Ben Kingsley and Mark Duplass are both locked to star. [Variety]
Commercial director Justin Reardon will make his debut on the film, a Christopher Painter-scripted story that revolves around “an inventor (Duplass) who unveils his latest creation: the five-sided box.” Something about this design transforms the world irrevocably, but implementing “its special fold” has unforetold effects that destroy the space-time continuum.

Exclusive: Justin Reardon, whose highlights in commercials include co-creating (and serving as the art director) on the memorable Wassup! and the Howaydoin' campaigns for Budweiser, will make his feature directing debut on Convention, a comedy that will be sold at the Cannes Film Festival by Hollywood Studios International. Scripted by Christopher Painter (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius) and produced by Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan, Convention takes place at a national packaging convention, where an underachieving inventor unveils his latest creation -- the 5-sided box. It seems like a game-changing innovation, until the inventor learns that each time he makes the special fold involved in assembling the box, he's ripping a small hole in the universe. If the invention takes hold, it might end the world. The film will begin production in the fall, with Hsi chairman/CEO Steven Saxton and Hsi president Eric Christenson exec producing. ICM...
