- Nat Pierce was born on July 16, 1925 in Somerville, Massachusetts, USA. He was an actor, known for New York, New York (1977), The Wrecking Crew! (2008) and The Seven Lively Arts (1957). He died in June 1992 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Jazz pianist and arranger in the Kansas City tradition, also a noted session musician. Arranged for Count Basie and Ella Fitzgerald. Briefly led his own band, 1949-51. Played piano and arranged for Woody Herman, 1951-55. In 1975, he joined Frank Capp as co-leader of the group Juggernaut, which used many of his arrangements.
