- Keith Potger performed the hit song "The Carnival is Over" with the other members of the Australian pop group, The Seekers, during the Brisbane 1988 World Expo Closing Ceremony (with Julie Anthony as the main singer). The Seekers also performed "The Carnival is Over" during the Sydney 2000 Paralympics Games Closing Ceremony. (with Judith Durham as the main singer). The Seekers hit song, "The Carnival is Over", reached a very high position on the UK pop charts, during the mid-1960s.
