Wes Anderson's films – seven of them since his debut with Bottle Rocket in 1996 – constitute a consistent oeuvre. They're comedies tinged with a certain tragic sense of life. Various actors recur, most notably Jason Schwartzman as a geeky young man, Luke Wilson as a quirky thirtysomething and Bill Murray as a middle-aged curmudgeon. The films pursue groups of eccentric figures who make up families of a kind generally characterised as "dysfunctional", invariably attracting references to Tolstoy's dubious claim that happy families are all alike and unhappy families are unhappy in their different ways. They're also exquisitely composed and lit and accompanied by an interesting, often surprising choice of music.

Tom Felton - the little bastard child known as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise - has joined the cast of The Apparition for Joel Silver's Dark Castle genre label. He'll star alongside Twilight thesp Ashley Greene, Luke Pasqualino, Julianna Guill and Sebastian Stan. The story, centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment. Felton's portraying an expert in the supernatural. One "Twilight Saga" star will go from portraying a vampire in the drama series to be a person haunted by supernatural presence in "The Apparition". Variety reported that Robert Pattinson's on-screen sister, Ashley Greene, is in talks to star in the horror movie produced by Joel Silver's Dark Castle.
It is still unclear what character the 22-year-old will take on, but the story, which reportedly is inspired by true events, centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence unleashed during a college experiment. Should the negotiations go according to plan, she is expected to join the production when it starts on February 1, 2010.
