Traditionally, a couple's 60th wedding anniversary is their "diamond" anniversary. Shalyn Nelson, though, decided to give her grandparents something else that would last forever for their 63rd anniversary. Nelson, a professional wedding photographer, arranged a glamorous photoshoot for her maternal grandparents, Billy Wanda and Joe Ray Johnson. She also went the further step of setting up her grandmother with a new gown, professional makeup and styling and floral arrangements for the shoot, courtesy of her network of professional friends. Nelson shot the couple at their ranch in Jewett, Texas, "where they've worked their entire lives," she told ABC News. • Need a little inspiration?...

Most people around Piketon, Ohio, knew the Rhodens. They were a large family who had lived in the area for generations. Many of them had attended Piketon High School. "They were good people," says family friend Joseph Ray. "Down-to-earth, generous, a very close family." But now, eight members of the family are dead, killed in last Friday's massacre. According to the coroner, many of the family members were shot multiple times. Some of them had bruising. Police say that the victims were shot "execution-style," and none appeared to be a suicide. The killer - or killers - are still at large.

While Skrillex might be the face of hard-dance Edm in the U.S. this year, his friends and collaborators from the U.K. Nero are quickly becoming popular. In fact, Nero's Daniel Stephens and Joe Ray, joined by frequent vocal partner Alana Watson, have five stellar hit singles across the pond from their debut album, Welcome Reality, which is now available in the U.S.
Notably, here in the States, fan support has surged, with strong Stateside gigs, a recording deal with Interscope and their single "Me & You" even being used in a Beats by Dre commercial featuring the good doctor himself. It's another endearing success story spawned from a genre that, in the past, catered to a very few, but today, the masses clearly can't get enough of.

Nero have soared straight to the top of the UK album chart with their debut LP Welcome Reality. The dubstep duo, otherwise known as Dan Stephens and Joe Ray, collected the accolade one week after scoring their first UK singles chart number one with their latest track 'Promises'. Nero's arrival puts an end to the late Amy Winehouse's three-week reign in pole position with Back To Black, as the celebrated 2006 LP slips behind Adele's 21 to three. Ex-Busted and Fightstar singer Charlie Simpson also achieves a respectable debut at six with his first solo album Young Pilgrim, while an Ultimate Collection from late folk legend John Denver lands right behind at seven. Chase & Status scramble to the back end of the Top 10 after rising three to nine with No More Idols, but Rihanna just fails (more)...

Nero have revealed that they would like to write the soundtrack for a future Blade Runner movie. The dubstep act - consisting of Joe Ray and Daniel Stephens - said that they would be interested in writing the score for a sci-fi film after completing their new futuristic concept album Welcome Reality. Speaking to Digital Spy, Stephens explained: "We did the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra collaboration which was called 'Symphony 2808' - it was actually 'Dubstep Symphony' for a while but we've taken it away from that because it wasn't very dubsteppy! "We wanted to write a score that included electronic music and contained some of the themes from our album with an orchestra." He continued: "It's got a similar kind of theory to Daft Punk's Tron: Legacy soundtrack, (more)...

Speaking to the Official Charts Company, Ray credited the momentous feat to the success of their January single 'Me & You' and their nomination for the BBC's 'Sound Of 2011' poll. "We'd been going since about 2004, then suddenly we had this number 15 hit," he said. "Before that, we were expected to carry on being an underground, word-of-mouth thing. Suddenly we were being played on Radio 1 and everything changed." Beyond the summit of the chart, David Guetta, Taio Cruz and Ludacris climb two to this week's four (more)...
