Mary Ridge started her career in television working on "Theatre 625"
from 1964 to 1967. Since then she has worked on numerous shows
including "The Newcomers" (1967-68), "The Doctors" (1970-71), "Z Cars"
1971, 1972, 1974), "Dixon of Dock Green" (1972-74), "The Brothers"
(1973, 1976), "Owen MD" (1973). She was instructor to directors at
StaffTraining in 1969 and in the build-up to the launch of "The Open
University." In 1977 she was associate producer on the second season of
"The Duchess of Duke Street" and, as director, she worked on, amongst
others, "Angels" (1978-1980, 1982-1983), "Blake's 7" (1980, 1981) and
"The District Nurse" (1983-1984).
