- Jane Rose was born on February 7, 1913 in Seattle, Washington, USA. She was an actress, known for Phyllis (1975), Great Performances (1971) and Halloween with the New Addams Family (1977). She died on June 29, 1979 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- She served 11 years as director of recreation for the New York Association for the Blind, and pioneered using drama for the blind.
