Prolific German stage and screen actor, member of a long-standing Berlin acting dynasty. In films from 1936, he generally portrayed working men, N.C.O.'s, policemen, apprentices and shopkeepers.
He got offered numerous engagements after the war and Willi Rose was in the lucky situation to enrich his career with interesting roles till brief to his death.
The actor Willi Rose had already made a name as an actor when he entered the film business in his mid-thirties.
From the 60's he also worked more often for TV productions besides his work at theaters and for feature movies.
He made his film debut in 1936 with the movies "Allotria" (1936) and "Verräter" (1936), and the next years he nearly exclusively impersonated support roles.
