Beata Rosenbaum was born on October 9, 1967 in Kraków, Malopolskie, Poland. She is a producer and casting director, known for The Siege (1998), The Corruptor (1999) and MacArthur Park (2001). She has been married to Benedict Macdonald since February 7, 2004. She was previously married to Kenneth J. Rosenbaum, M.D..
Education: Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. B.A. in Journalism.
Beata spent a year in London, England studying journalism and
documentary filmmaking through a program sponsored by Temple
University.
She was co-owner,with Riccardo Bertoni of a casting company NB Casting
in New York.
While living in England, Beata travelled to Kent to cover a story on
the coal miners strike and the hard times they were facing. Her
articles later appeared in The Daily Telegraph, a London newspaper.
Working for the past year with fellow filmmaker Meghan Sea Treese on a
documentary dealing with juvenile crime, imprisonment and prevention.
