Dan Rupple, working in the media industry for over 40 years, has vast experience in diverse arenas including creative development, comedy writing, consulting, production and executive management. Dan has worked within the highest ranks of network television and on the forefront of digital media.
Dan Rupple was raised in the Los Angeles suburb of Downey, California. In his high school years Dan formed a sketch comedy group and began performing at various Hollywood comedy clubs. Gaining in popularity, the three-man team, became known as the pioneering Christian comedy team Isaac Air Freight. At the helm of Isaac Air Freight, Dan wrote and produced eight top-selling comedy albums, numerous radio and television programs, and performed in over 1200 concerts gaining them worldwide popularity.
In 1990, Dan was brought on as the Production Supervisor for "The Price Is Right" for CBS Television. Over the next decade, Dan also supervised all west coast productions of Late Show with David Letterman, The 49th Prime Time Emmy Awards, Family Feud and many other network programs for CBS.
In the 2000's Dan became a pioneer of digital media. As YouTube was just launching in 2005, Dan was already in the midst of producing and writing 150 digital comedy videos, the majority being branded entertainment pieces for such major corporations as Toyota, GMC and Gloria Jean's Coffee.
As Dan's success in comedy digital media was growing, Dan's company Seriously Funny Entertainment, began writing and developing comedy projects for film and television. In 2006, Dan served as a consultant on the Inspirational Comedy Film Series, "Thou Shalt Laugh."
Dan is the Honorary Chairman of the Christian Comedy Association, serves on the Biola Media Conference Executive Advisory Board and serves as an advisor to the Windrider Forum at the Sundance Film Festival. He is an honored graduate of Biola University, with MFA work in Screenwriting from Regent University and an ordained minister.
Today, Dan serves as CEO of Mastermedia International, a respected voice of faith and trusted Christian presence within the global media industry. Mastermedia consults regularly with leading media executives and influencers world-wide.
Dan has been married to the love of his life Peggy, for over 42 years, and together they celebrate 3 married children and 4 grandkids. Along with his wife Peggy, Dan co-hosts the web series and podcast, "Life Off Screen."
