He passed away on September 28, 2013 in Rome, after being struck down by a vehicle in August. He spent the last month of his life in a hospital.
After many years of dubbing work, he started to appear in small (often
uncredited) on-screen roles in 1980; often playing religious figures
like priests, monks, rabbis etc.
Has worked actively with dubbing foreign (mostly Italian) films into
English since 1963. He has worked as sync-adapter and dubbing director
of more than 500 films, and as a voice-dubber he has appeared in more
than 1000 films.
