What would you think if I pitched a version of The Magnificent Seven to you, but the seven were women? In the days when we are looking at a female Ghostbusters (not a bad thing) you’d probably nod and think it was a good idea (or complain). Fact is, it has already been made decades ago and directed by Nico Mastorakis. Hired to Kill is an interesting cult gem, so it’s no wonder Arrow Video have released it on Blu-ray.
Mercenary Frank Ryan (Brian Thompson) is tasked with taking out a South American dictator, and freeing a revolutionary leader by the CIA. Knowing that the countries ruler, Michal Bartos’ (Oliver Reed...

Belladonna Of Sadness
Release Date: Coming Soon from Cinelicious Pics Written By: Yoshiyuki Fukuda, Jules Michelet (novel), Eiichi Yamamoto Directed By: Eiichi Yamamoto Starring: Tatsuya Nakadai, Katsuyuki Itô, Aiko Nagayama
When I heard about Cinelicious Pics’ plans to restore and release the long lost 1973 anime Belladonna Of Sadness, I was well and truly excited. I’m a huge aficionado of 70s-era anime, and this baby has been a “holy grail” of sorts for folks like me for a good many years — much desired but damn near impossible to obtain. So that being said, and with those expectations set freakin’ sky high, let’s see if ol’ Belladonna was worth the wait or will it just fill me with sadness of my own!
Belladonna Of Sadness, based loosely (and by that I mean hardly at all) on the French novel La Sorcière by Jules Michelet, tells the brutal tale of Jeanne,...

HollywoodNews.com: Heidi Montag just can’t seem to catch a break as yet another person is going on the verbal attack against her for things she has said and done.
The mother of Heidi Montag’s deceased plastic surgeon, Frank Ryan, is speaking out against the former ‘Hills’ star, states RadarOnline.com. Mary Kate Ryan believes that things Heidi has said since his death are “vindictive.”
“What she did I don’t think it’s right. He’s gone,” Ryan said referencing Heidi’s interview for the ABC Primetime Special ‘Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far?’.
In the interview, Heidi claimed that she was not properly warned about what may happen and how she may feel.
“One minute she says his hands were created by God and the next minute she’s saying she’s upset with her body,” Ryan said about how Heidi has always been changing her story.

Reality TV star Heidi Montag is blaming a dead doctor for her plastic surgery addiction, insisting he should have warned her about the dangers of cosmetic enhancements.
The Hills star famously went under the knife to have 10 surgeries in one day, including a chin reduction, a boob job and a rhinoplasty - all at the hands of tragic surgeon Frank Ryan, who died in a car crash earlier this year.
But now, in a candid and emotional TV special, Montag insists she wasn't properly prepared for the procedures.
In the Primetime news special, she says, "Maybe I should have known, but how can you know when your doctor's saying, 'It's just a little of this, it's just a little of that?'
"I definitely think I should have been way more informed... I think that doctors should really walk you through all aspects of it, not just the glamorous side of it.
"It's like they're selling you cookies or something."
Montag recently revealed she regretted the massive makeover and is already considering reducing her enhanced boobs.

Oh my god. Suddenly it all makes sense. We take it all back. The blow-up doll comments, the beach ball boobs slams and that time we laughed when her face fell off. It turns out, Heidi Montag did it all for love. At least that’s what her doctor’s “close friend” is blabbing to Radar Online. According to the site, Heidi had a hopeless crush on her late plastic surgeon Frank Ryan, who died in a car accident this August. The revelation comes just days after the former Hills star accused Dr. Ryan of misleading her into getting ten surgeries in one day. Maybe all she wanted was one magical day with Dr. Ryan….*swoon* “I believe she had a crush on him,” Dr. Ryan’s friend Dawn DaLuise said in an interview to Radar. ”I believe she was romantically obsessed with him… she saw him as a night in shining armor.

Heidi Montag feels "misled" by the doctor who carried out her cosmetic surgery. The blond beauty has regrets about undergoing 10 procedures in one day, including breast implants, a brow lift, nose job and liposuction, and claims she would never have gone through with the treatment if surgeon Frank Ryan, who died in a car accident in August, had not persuaded her it wasn't "excessive".
"It's not who I am. It's something I did," she said. "It was a choice that I made, and I wanted other women and people to know, 'Yeah, I have insecurities and so does everyone, and this is what I did, and I don't want to lie about it, and I don't want to cover it up."
"I don't like lying. It's just not who I am. In retrospect, I do wish I never would have said anything. I wouldn't do it again ... If I could go back,...

Detectives investigating the death of Hollywood plastic surgeon Frank Ryan have ruled out reports the skin doctor lost control of his car in Malibu, California in August because he was driving while texting to his Twitter.com account.
The surgeon, who had worked on a series of stars including Heidi Montag, Janice Dickinson and Gene Simmons, died after driving his Jeep over a cliff while travelling back to his office after a hike with his dog.
His ex-girlfriend Charmaine Blake had suggested that Ryan was uploading a photo of his pet onto his Twitter site when he died, but a California Highway Patrol investigation has discovered evidence to the contrary.
A final report into the tragedy states that an "unsafe turning movement" led to Ryan drifting off a rocky embankment.
An official tells TMZ.com, "There was no evidence of any other contributing factors in the cause of this collision."...
