- Pierre Salinger was born on June 14, 1925 in San Francisco, California, USA. He was married to Nicole Beuvillain de Menthon, Nicole Helene Gillmann, Nancy Brook Joy and Renee Laboure. He died on October 16, 2004 in Le Thor, Vaucluse, France.

- Former press secretary for U.S. presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson. Proceeded with controversial claims of military involvement in the downing of Flight 800 over the New York Harbor from information relayed to him via internet contacts.
