- Eduard Sarlui was born on November 10, 1925 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He was a producer and writer, known for Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988), Men at Work (1990) and The Chase (1994). He died on July 20, 2010 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
- Chairman and CEO of Trans World Entertainment (TWE), which during the 1980s and early 1990s specialized as a small worldwide theatrical production and distribution company, and domestically releasing films on the home video market.
- Also started Continental Motion Pictures with Helen Sarlui. The company was an umbrella organization registered in Panama but selling features in the U.S. through American Cinema Services and in Italy through Eureka Film International of Rome.
- Along with business partner Moshe Diamant, Sarlui also became a stockholder in Mark Damon's outfit, Vision International.
