Icm agent Tom Burke has been named head of casting at Warner Bros. Television, replacing Mary V. Buck, who is retiring in May.
Burke has been named senior vp/head of casting at the studio, where he will supervise the casting of onscreen talent for all primetime television pilots and series produced by Wbtv as well as scripted pilots and series for Warner Horizon Television.
"We have worked closely with Tom for many years as an agent and witnessed first-hand his passion for television and his taste in marrying the right talent with the right material," Wbtv president Peter Roth said. "We look forward to Tom joining our team and to benefiting from his relationships as he leads our efforts to assemble the best casts for our pilots and series."
Burke will report to Roth and oversee senior vp Anthony Sepulveda, vp Margaret "Meg" Simon, directors Tony Birkley and John Power and manager Findley Davidson.

Veteran WBTV casting director Anthony Sepulveda has been promoted to senior vp at the studio's casting department, headed by senior vp casting Mary Buck. Additionally, John Power has rejoined WBTV as director of casting. Sepulveda, an 18-year WBTV veteran, was upped from vp. He has been nominated for an Emmy for his casting work on The West Wing and Fail Safe. His credits also include Friends, The Drew Carey Show, Family Matters and Knots Landing. Power, who was manager of casting at WBTV's New York office from 2002-05, most recently was a casting executive at NBC, working on the pilots Heroes and Kidnapped, the series The Office and Las Vegas and the final season of Will & Grace.
