This news certainly merits a “Bazinga!”: A prequel spinoff of CBS’ mega-hit The Big Bang Theory is being developed, with a young Sheldon Cooper as the lead character.
CBS and Warner Bros. TV, who produces Big Bang, are working on the project, according to our sister site Variety, with a script deal expected soon. It centers on a young Sheldon growing up in Texas; Jim Parsons, who stars as the adult Sheldon, won’t reprise his role, but he will executive-produce the spinoff, along with Big Bang co-creator Chuck Lorre and current showrunner Steve Molaro. Two key pieces of the Bartlet administration are teaming up again.
Bradley Whitford is set to guest star on CBS’ Mom, reuniting him with The West Wing co-star Allison Janney. According to Entertainment Weekly, Whitford will play an old friend of Adam (William Fichtner), the current boyfriend of Janney’s character Bonnie. The old friend is a Hollywood director with a fondness for the sauce — which might not sit well with recovering alcoholics Bonnie and Christy (Anna Faris).

Sheldon’s Meemaw paid her beloved Moonpie a visit on Thursday’s Big Bang Theory, which found two of the most important women in his life at odds.

Dr. Cooper’s frequently-discussed-but-never-before-seen grandmother (as portrayed by Oscar nominee June Squibb) arrived from Texas in the aptly titled “The Meemaw Materialization,” and it wasn’t long before she and Amy were at each other’s throats.
The reason, you might ask?
The otherwise endearing Meemaw has an axe to grind with Shelly’s girlfriend over her decision to break up with him last year.

Longtime fans of The Big Bang Theory know just exactly how much Sheldon Cooper loves his MeeMaw. We all knew, eventually, that the image would be shattered for the rest of us. Sounds like Raj also has some interesting turmoil to deal with as well. Check out the official synopsis of “The MeeMaw Materialization” below: Sheldon’s thrilled when his MeeMaw (guest star June Squibb) comes to

As if it weren't already obvious, my favorite holiday is Halloween. I have so many fond memories of spending weeks - sometimes months - planning the perfect costume, hitting up thrift shops for clothing, handcrafting accessories, and planning the perfect route to get through town and hit every house in the two hours allotted for trick or treating. Even now, I still rush home from work so I can dress up and take my kids out without a care of what anyone thinks of me (my profile picture represents one of my better costumes). Sure, Christmas and Thanksgiving are great, but neither has a section at the department store filled with zombies, monsters and skulls (one usually has to make their own zombie Santas).
While Halloween is a holiday for pretty much everyone, we nerds revel in it. So when Penny invites the boys...
