The twisted world of Dark/Web is slowly approaching. If you’ve ever needed a reason to fear the world the internet, this upcoming series is sure to give you one. With its healthy combination of both serialized and anthological storytelling, Dark/Web seems poised to scratch an itch that a lot of consumers are having.

Some new faces have joined Felt Films' upcoming Dark/Web series, including legends Robert Davi (Die Hard) and Julie Benz (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Davi, who has appeared in over 100 films, plays an ethically challenged doctor in an episode titled "Transplant," written and directed by Mario Miscione, while Benz appears in one called "Rideshare" from Boman Modine. Other last-minute additions to the cast include Hayley Marie Norman (iZombie), Dora Madison (Friday Night Lights) Griffin Freeman (Atlanta) Duane Shepard Sr. (American Crime Story), Amin El Gamal (Prison Break: Resurrection), Cameron Cruz (CHiPs) and Cole Bernstein (Secrets and Lies). The internet may be a useful everyday tool that we take for granted, but at its core, it has the power to be devastating and deadly. In the darkest reaches of the web are the most horrifying of possibilities, and even if you’ve never been a victim yourself, chances are you’ve at least heard some terrifying stories involving the deep web.
The upcoming Lrm-exclusive digital series, Dark/Web, will be tackling some of those possibilities. The single story will be told over the course of the eight-part series, but embedded into each of the episodes are bite-sized “segments” that act as mini-anthologies within the show.

ABC released four new press releases today for various shows coming later this month. These really include nothing new, but give a sneak peek at the stars and guest stars of the new and returning shows, which include FlashForward, Castle, The Forgotten, and Modern Family. Fox also sent out a press release for season six of their show House, which is shaping up to be one of the most hyped shows of the new season, new or returning.
