- Jack Snow was born on January 25, 1943 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, USA. He was an actor, known for Heaven Can Wait (1978), The NFL on NBC (1965) and The NFL on CBS (1956). He was married to Merry Carole Shane. He died on January 9, 2006 in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA.

- From 1994-97 he and his son J.T. Snow didn't speak for reasons that have never been revealed, but when J.T. nearly lost an eye after being hit by a 100-mph fastball thrown by Randy Johnson, the two reunited.
- Played for the L.A. Rams as a wide receiver from 1965-75 when they were based out of Los Angeles. Later, he became a radio broadcaster for the team. Moved to St. Louis when the team moved to St. Louis.
- Snow was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1967 and still ranks among the team leaders in several receiving categories.
- He developed a sinus infection which became a staph infection. It then entered the bloodstream and infected an artificial hip joint, which in turn caused his death.
