She'll be there for you. Bonnie Somerville, best known for playing Mona throughout the eighth season of "Friends," just tied the knot in the Santa Susana Mountains. On April 8, the actor married creative director Dave McClain - the person she says made her believe in true love. According to People, the ceremony took place at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in California, with Somerville's mom, Maureen, walking her down the aisle.
"I never believed in soulmates until I met Dave," Somerville told People. "I love everything about him." And evidently, so does Maureen. "She raised me alone so she's my best friend and both mom and dad to me," Somerville explained. "She loves Dave and they have an amazing bond."
As Mona, Somerville played one of Ross Geller's love interests who was trying to balance their relationship with the news of Rachel Green's pregnancy. Her character eventually broke things off...

Don Johnson returned as Nash Bridges this Saturday night, with Cheech Marin’s Joe Dominguez again riding shotgun. Did the reunion movie for USA Network prove worthy of a full-on series revival?
The two-hour movie — which producers, at least at one point, hoped would serve as a backdoor pilot for a full series relaunch — picked up with Nash and Joe chasing after Trevor Garrison, a baddie involved in trafficking teenage girls. After a gunshot from Joe accidentally explodes a nearby gas truck (but in doing so Ko’s Trevor), both he and Nash nonetheless get a two-week suspension from the...

At the height of my wrestling and boy band obsession, I wrote a crossover fan fic in which *Nsync’s Justin Timberlake dated a WWE wrestler who was best friends with the Hardy Boyz and Lita. It was not good.
On the other hand, Starz’s upcoming drama Heels (premiering Sunday, Aug. 15 at 9/8c; I’ve seen the first seven episodes) — created by fellow wrestling fan Michael Waldron (Loki, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and executive-produced by Mike O’Malley (Survivor’s Remorse) — is very good.

We’re calling it: The would-be Code Black revival is Doa. Although officially cancelled by CBS back in May, the medical drama — which continued to perform solidly in the ratings in the weeks following its axing — regained a (faint) pulse over the summer when CBS president Kelly Kahl indicated that he was reconsidering the decision.
“It’s doing incredibly well, it’s a well-done show. We’d like to figure out a way to maybe make it work,” Kahl told reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. “We’re going to take a look.”

Most viewers probably don’t remember this, but Bradley Cooper starred as a fictionalized version of the late Anthony Bourdain in a Fox sitcom based off his best-selling book “Kitchen Confidential.”
In the series of the same name, Cooper portrayed “Jack Bourdain,” an executive chef of an upscale restaurant called Nolita. The short-lived series ran for just one season on Fox during the 2005-06 TV season, averaging around 4 million viewers, according to Nielsen. Although 13 episodes were made, Fox only aired four of them.
The series premiered shortly after Cooper’s role in the 2005 comedy “Wedding Crashers.”
It also featured Nicholas Brendon, John Francis Daly, Jamie King, Bonnie Somerville, Owain Yeoman, John Cho and Frank Langella.

Yesterday, a Trailer dropped for the rare remake that also has Academy Award aspirations. Most of the time, remakes are passable at best, and atrocious at worst. This one, however, could be different. The film in question is, in case you couldn’t guess, A Star is Born, which also marks the directorial debut of A-list actor Bradley Cooper. Teamed up with Lady Gaga, the pair seek to make this latest version of the story the most successful one yet. Warner Brothers is clearly optimistic about this one, considering the movie is a fall release. You’ll be able to see the Trailer at the end of the article, as always, but first…let us discuss! The film is the latest version of the classic story. Warner Brothers describes the plot as such: “Seasoned musician Jackson Maine (Cooper) discovers-and falls in love with-struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about...

Angels Memorial is closing its doors. CBS has cancelled its Code Black TV show after three seasons. Creator and showrunner Michael Seitzman has already confirmed the Code Black cancellation. Although the production utilized the extraordinary measures of amputating some original series regulars (Raza Jaffrey and Bonnie Somerville) and grafting on a big name (Rob Lowe), the patient eventually succumbed to acute ratings anemia. A CBS medical drama, Code Black stars Marcia Gay Harden, Luis Guzmán, Boris Kodjoe, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, William Allen Young, Emily Tyra, Noah Gray-Cabey, Emily Alyn Lind, Moon Bloodgood, and Lowe. The story unfolds at Angels Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles — home of the busiest, most notorious ER in the country. The high patient volume dwarfs the resources available to the exceptional staff — creating a condition known as Code Black. According to Seitzman...

Is “Ghosted” coming back?
That’s a question on viewers’ minds as upfronts week comes to a close, with Fox, ABC, NBC, CBS and The CW all having announced their fall programming schedules as of Thursday. ‘Cause some of those slates have holes in them, meaning the statuses of almost half a dozen shows on broadcast television are still up in the air.
Look, we can accept the fact that not every series will be saved like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” — not every show should be. But come on, networks — minus ABC and The CW, who have already killed or renewed everything they’re going to — fans need to hear one way or another whether their favorite programs will be returning this fall, especially for ones that have a crazy-devoted fanbase.

Code Black wasn't an out of the gate hit.
But it really put the pedal to the metal as far as the medical drama was concerned. Every week, Code Black Season 1 had a very strong medical case, sometimes involving their own characters.
Rob Lowe is about to become one of those characters. He's joined as a series regular!!
His character will be introduced on the second season premiere on September 28.
A doctor in the U.S. Military’s prestigious Combat Casualty Care research program, Colonel Ethan Willis, has been pulled out of a combat hospital in Afghanistan and embedded at Angels Memorial to teach what the military has learned about combat medicine.

Paging Emma Watson. The Code Black TV show on CBS is casting for a new doctor character, Charlotte Piel, in the second season. While in residency at Angels Memorial, Charlotte will reportedly fight to be taken seriously by her coworkers. The role is a recurring one with an option to become a series regular.

CBS hasn't had a successful medical drama in quite some time. How has Code Black been performing in the ratings? Will the network want it back for a second season or, will it be cancelled instead?
Code Black takes place in an Emergency Room in Los Angeles where underfunding and understaffing pile huge pressures on its staff. The cast includes Marcia Gay Harden, Raza Jaffrey, Bonnie Somerville, Melanie Chandra, William Allen Young, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Luis Guzman.
The series debuted in late September 2015 to a 1.54 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.58 million viewers. That was an okay start for the 10pm drama though the CBS execs were surely hoping for better.

She’s the gorgeous face we love to see on Code Black every week, but that’s not the only reason that Bonnie Somerville is so successful in life. She’s one of those women who seems to have a good head on her shoulders, as well as the good grace and good fortune to be good at everything she does. We cannot remember the last time we saw her in a role we did not love or heard her in an interview in which she came across as anything less than poignant, on point and eloquent. She’s kind of like superwoman, except
