Sure, Dwayne Johnson's Skyscraper may have a bigger budget, but it's definitely missing two other big ingredients. Skyscraper (1996) Director: Raymond Martino Stars: Anna Nicole Smith, Richard Steinmetz, Charles M. Huber Die Hard but with Playboy's 1993 Playmate of the Year instead of stupid Bruce Willis. Skyscraper is the definition of dumb fun. The script, the acting, the action.it's... Read More...

Long before The Rock's Skyscraper, there was Anna Nicole Smith's 1996 action-thriller, which owes a considerable debt to Die Hard...
A high-tech building beset by villains and machine gun fire. A hero dangling from a wire dozens of storeys off the ground. Hostages. Explosions. More machine gun fire. Those are some of the sights that await us in Skyscraper, the latest action-thriller opus from Dwayne Johnson - arguably the closest thing the 21st century has to a star of Arnold Schwarzenegger's stature.

Sure, comparisons with the 80s classic Die Hard are inevitable, but like most of Johnson's best films, including the latter Fast films, San Andreas and the surprise hit, Jumanji, there's the sense that Johnson's in on the joke. He clearly loves being an action star,...

General Hospital: Week In Review, August 13-17, 2012. Impending Mayhem
General Hospital was rife with angst and the portent of mayhem during the week of August 13-17. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Josslyn were admitted to General Hospital after Jerry (Sebastian Roche) injected them with a possible lethal substance. The attorney and little girl, both recovered from previous serious illness, were on the brink of death from the injection. Eventually, they began to recover.
Jerry’s latest plot against Port Charles residents is foreshadowed when it is revealed that the injections were a vaccination. With the assistance of Ewen (Nathin Butler) and Joe Jr., (Richard Steinmetz) Jerry plots to release germ warfare in the city, but the vaccination will save Alexis and Joss. If Jerry does not recover from his deteriorating health condition, he may end up in General Hospital along with his victims, soon.
One relationship dissolves while others evolve.

General Hospital: Week In Review, August 6-10, 2012
General Hospital was a week of triangles August 6-10… John/Sam/Jason, Todd/Carly/Johnny Z, Elizabeth/Ewen/Jason, Alexis/Jerry/Jerry’s ego…
After Todd (Roger Howarth) sends a picture of John (Michael Easton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) kissing to Natalie, Clint files for a restraining order on Natalie’s behalf. As John and Natalie were never married, the restraining order prevents John from seeing Natalie and son, Liam. John lands in jail after he pummels Todd in front of Sam.
Sam retains her mother as counsel for John, and the women arrive at the Pcpd on the heels of John’s arrest. John is in hell, not from impending incarceration, but from being handcuffed in the chair next to Heather Webber. Death-and-destruction-Heather (Robin Mattson) is being transported back to the Ferncliff asylum, but not before taunting Sam and Alexis with...
