Ziva David most unexpectedly resurfaced, and in the flesh, in NCIS‘ Season 16 finale. But will her only happy reunion be with Gibbs? Might baby daddy Dinozzo show up as well? Or is she, to the consternation of more than 90 percent of TVLine readers, just another figment of Boss’ imagination?

It was no less than thrilling to see Ziva frickin’ David appear at the top of Gibbs’ basement steps at the close of NCIS‘ Season 16 finale. And yet the moment was tempered by the fact that Gibbs had spent much of the preceding episode seeing and talking to dead ex Diane Sterling (or, worse, channeling Diane for Fornell).
As such, an immediate theory — and one that merits consideration — is that Gibbs was merely imagining Ziva, as well.
What we know for a fact thus far is that Cote de Pablo will be back in this fall’s Season 17 premiere. Beyond that…...

The NCIS team is about to learn a lot more about Gibbs — and the repercussions will affect everyone, including Boss himself.
In tonight’s follow-up to last week’s “Judge, Jury…” — which is titled “…and Executioner,” and airs at 8/7c on CBS — the NCIS team will wonder who is acting as judge and jury as they investigate the secret, quarter-billion dollar government bank account that’s funding a nationwide network of vigilante justice.
As the team deals with “some issues” arising from this “Star Chamber”-type organization, “Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) is going to make a rather large reveal to his co-workers,...

NCIS, Season 10, Episode 9: “Devil’s Trifecta”
Written by Steven D. Binder
Directed by Arvin Brown
Airs Tuesdays at 8pm (Et) on CBS
“We’re working on an IRS fraud case. You sleeping alone is more interesting.”
Truer words were never spoken. Tony can almost be credited for reading viewers’ minds when he comments on the case-of-the-week and McGee’s love life, comparing the routine procedural to the potentially-riveting “sexual escapades” of his co-worker. The return of Gibbs and Fornell’s ex-wife has brought tension to the squad room and rumors to the mill.
The last time anyone saw Diane Sterling (Melinda McGraw), she was professing her undying affection for Gibbs, realizing that she would never be to him what his first wife was, his one true love. Here she returns with a surprise for all: a badge. Now a member of the IRS crime division and an equal to...

They say that marriage can be a bitch, but tonight's NCIS episode, "Devil's Trifecta," gives that a whole new meaning in my opinion.
It's one thing to have to deal with an ex-wife, pay alimony, and all of the other crap associated with making a bad choice in a spouse, but when that ex-wife actually almost gets you killed, that's a completely different story.
With as many ex-wives as Gibbs' has had, you might have guessed the target would be him, but the poor victim turns out to be Agent Tobias Fornell (Joe Spano). My favorite sidekick of Gibbs had always been Mike Franks (Muse Watson), and ever since his character was killed off, my favorite has been Fornell.
If there is an episode that features Gibbs and Fornell, you can almost guarantee it to be a hoot-feast, and tonight's episode was no exception.
As serious as the episode began with Fornell almost being killed,...

In two sneak preview clips from tonight's all-new NCIS episode, we see Gibbs and Fornell on the hunt for an elusive person of interest ... who they both happened to be married to at separate points in their lives.
Gibbs teams up with his FBI Agent counterpart (recurring guest star Joe Spano) on a joint NCIS/FBI investigation after Fornell becomes the target of a shooting, but they face an unexpected twist in the case.
Their mutual ex-wife, Diane Sterling (guest star Melinda McGraw), gets involved ... and clearly rattles both Tony and McGee. Speaking of which, she reportedly stays overnight at McGee’s, fueling office gossip.
We'll have to wait and see what actually happens with that situation, but in the sneak peeks below, we see Gibbs and Fornell track down their joint ex, and learn that Diane has been using dueling aliases.
Watch the two scenes from "Devil's Trifecta" and comment below!

Ausiello: She’s back in Lima for Thanksgiving and decides to take her successor in bitchery Kitty under her wing, a mentorship Santana has a real problem with. (Turns out the Kitster has been doing something literally and figuratively crappy to Brit.)
Question: Could Finn’s new love interest on Glee possibly be someone we already know, like Mercedes or Tina?...

NCIS Enters a “Devil’s Triangle” – Review
In “Devil’s Triangle”, Diane Sterling (Melinda McGraw) calls her ex-husbands, Gibbs and Fornell, when her current husband, Victor Sterling of Homeland Security, goes missing. Checking out the Beltway Burger where Victor last called Diane, NCIS finds two employees shot dead with Victor’s gun. One of the employees is a Naval reservist, allowing Gibbs and the team to investigate officially.
I’m an NCIS fan who’s less interested in meeting Gibbs’s ex-wives, but since they are a signature part of his backstory, it’s worth putting Diane in context. Before Diane, we had met Gibbs’s third ex, Stephanie Flynn (Kathleen York) in the Season 5 episode “The Ex-File”. While that relationship was cordial, Diane has traditionally been referenced as the most caustic of Gibbs’s exes. She mentioned trying to be a human antidepressant to help him get over the death of his first wife,...

Melinda McGraw is coming to NCIS November 1 as the ex-wife of Gibbs ... and Fornell.
The episode title? "Devil's Triangle." What led both men to marry this woman (Fornell has a daughter with her, as well), and where do things stand between all of them now?
An an interview with EW, which first obtained the photo below, executive producer Gary Glasberg says that with the arrival of Diane Sterling, neither man will know what hit him.
Finding the right woman to spar with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and FBI Agent Tobias Fornell (Joe Spano), who have developed quite a rapport over the years, was a task in itself.
“When this part first came up it was a big question of who we could find that would be able to really make something of the banter that we wanted between this character’s two ex-husbands,” Glasberg said. “[Gibbs and Fornell] are two formidable, very unique characters...

Gibbs and FBI Agent Tobias Fornell won’t know what hit ‘em in the Nov. 1 episode of NCIS, when a case brings their ex-wife Diane Sterling (Melinda McGraw) to their doorstep, and EW has your exclusive first look at the trio’s encounter.
