Appeared in a television commercial on top of Saint Paul's Cathederal
in 1973 with Fred Griffiths.
Worked on a motor bike as a telegram boy for the post office from the age of 16 to 18.
With his brother, Pat, he worked for a short time on the Dodgem Cars at a fairground in Gullane, Scotland.
His first public appearance was at The Town Hall Birmingham where he sang in the Schools' Choir and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
In the 1960s, he passed the selection course for 23 SAS, one of the two SAS Territorial Army battalions.

April 2016: is in preproduction for the opening of his full length play, The 2 Sides of Eddie Ramone, which opens at the Jermyn Street Theatre, London, on July 25th. This was adapted from the one person play he wrote in 2011.
He has played a character called Judd five times in five different TV productions.
Living in Los Angeles where he works in movies - both in
front of the camera and dubbing voices for other actors. He also
performs in a one man Irish show, which he hopes to take to London next
year, and writes the odd article for magazines. (May 2006)
