Writer/Director Audrey O'Reilly (Teenage Cics, Clare Sa Speir) has been signed to write the screen adaptation of Kate Thompson's award winning children's fantasy novel 'The New Policeman'. The book tells the story of a young boy, Jj, who makes the startling discovery that time is leaking from our world into Tír na n'Óg - the 'Land Of Eternal Youth' - and that it's fallen to him to find the source of the leak before time runs out for both worlds. Producer Hawk Koch (Primal Fear, Collateral Damage, Wayne's World) is behind the project and Jay Russell (The Water Horse, Ladder 49) will direct.
